    UMI Iron Pro running CyanogenMod...

Fairly heavy usage, about 36 hours until I hit the 10% mark..

I have a Galaxy S6 and the battery is okay. If I don't use it too much I'd get the whole day out of it. I use it too much though so I charge it at night and maybe once during the day. My old phone, a galaxy s4 mini had to be charged about 4 times a day. Ridiculous!

This is going to turn into a "I have an iPhone" thread.

I have an iPhone 6 and a Nexus 6P and they're both shyte at holding a charge for a full day.

A pox on both your houses!

I had an old Sony phone I think it was. Got to a stage that I couldn't answer a call or the battery would die, even if fully charged to 100%. Had to let it ring out and message whoever called :D it was one of the first touch screens so I went back to a grand Nokia till the tech got a bit better

Galaxy S5 - don't use it too much during the day so normally lasts two days.
If I do use it then at night.

What Iphone is it and how old is it? I've a 4s and have to charge it in work and usually again at night and don't use it excessively. Also will say a few % battery left but when you plug it in it jumps up suddenly again to 20 or more. That or it dies with 20-30% battery left and again the second you plug it into charge apple logo appears and it starts up automatically straight away. They hardly changed settings when changing the screen, or reset to default or anything?

Nexus 6p, would last a month if it was just on standby.
Normal use would get 2 days.

Also with rapid charging it nearly full after 15mins.

Xperia Z2. Get 2 days out of it with heavy usage. I have wifi, bluetooth and gps turned on permanently. Also I never close apps when I finish using them so they all remain open in the background. I'll stick with Sony next time as well as I like having a good battery.

    Ms

Once every 4 weeks, and I use it all day every day.

    I have a Nokia 5110.

Great phones them Nokia,s were. Bring them back I say all forgiven.
I had a lot of Nokia phones all had brilliant battery's my last one being a Nokia 6250 that I only stopped using recently as its outside rubber coating had worn away a lot and its quite bulky but still a great phone.
The phone I have now a Lumia phone is nice but the battery in it is ****. Does not even last a day and that is with it in power save mood and not being used much.
Need to get another nice little Nokia I think one with buttons.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

How do I check? It's a 5 and I have it years but recently bought a new battery. Battery was absolutely fine until I dropped it today.

At night and during the day (if needs be)

I have a HTC One m9 and the battery is **** and with constant use (chrome, facebook, spotify mostly) can last only about 4/5 hours

Those battery saving apps are a waste and do **** all.

Bought a 2.0 fast charger. It does charge the phone faster but wastes the battery faster ??

My Xiaomi Note 2 lasts all day (how depressing that I consider this impressive).

Seriously thinking of going back to the old feature phone/dumb phone soon.
Not just for battery reasons but I'm getting fed up of being online all the time.

Galaxy S5...battery is brilliant. Can get the day easily with fairly heavy calling/internet/texting.

Also when you put it on charge the battery takes no time to add on 40 or 50%.

Couple of days. Phones getting old though

Lumia 830. Charge every 24 to 36 hrs depending on use/need.

Sony Z3 mini - 2 days. From what I've read, they've made all the newer ones worse so I'll be holding on to this one for as long as I can. Quality evolution of a product!

Let's see what HTC announce today but in truth, my interest in expensive top of the range phones is gone.

I have an iPhone 6 and once at night usually does the job. I have a portable charger and I'd highly recommend it. Don't go for a cheap one, I spent about 50 on mine and it's great.

It very much depends on what you're doing with the phone. Power consumption varies enormously depending on what load the processors and GPU is under, how good the signal is, if you're on WiFi regularly, if you're tethering, how bright the screen is etc etc etc

iOS 9 and later versions of android are both very good at managing battery use. My experience is iOS is actually more aggressive at suspending background apps and services than android due to Apple being more tightly managed and less open.

I also noticed that when I'm on Vodafone (on either iOS or Android) my battery life is MUCH better than on 3. I'm on meteor at the moment which seems quite OK too.

So I can only assume that poor network connectivity causes the phones to amplify the signal and switch cell more so, you end up burning through a lot more energy too.

There are soooo many factors at play though it's very hard to just compare.

Samsung S7, set to the basic powersave mode I get 2 days before its down to about 25%. Id probably get the working day out of that 25% but haven't tried it yet.

I dont have facebook installed & as i dont like to be always on, i set mails to manual sync. Usage wise i listen to music & podcasts, do light browsing with screen on for probably 2 hours per day. I imagine with facebook, twitter & auto sync id probably get 1.5 days or less out of it.

Towards the end, my old HTC M7 with similar usage was getting perhaps 12 hours per charge, before it got wet.

I have a Lumia something or other. It last about two days with normal use (reading on the bog). If I use google maps it might last 2 or 3 hours.

Motorola RAZR HD which had a decent battery to it at the time, it's getting on in years but can still get 2 days on light enough usage.

There was that one time it couldn't last no more than 3 hours after a full charge, turned out it was the crappy Google+ app sucking the life out of the phone.

I recharge my phone at the same time as I recharge my body, simple and I never run out of juice.

My iphone needs charge every 3-4 days. I use it only for calls/text/email.

My Android needs charge most days. Internet/calls/texts/

I turn off notifications on both. I turn off wifi scanning also.

HTC m9, would get a day and a half out of it with averse usage.

Getting it from zero takes about 4 bloody hours though so got a fast charger which gets it up to 90% in just over an hour
