    Was that your annual test?
Not really, I think it's our '6 month after getting clear check test' if YKWIM. Right pain in the ar5e testing sucklers this day of the year.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

so will you retested now in 6 months or a year?

Probably test again in Oct/Nov. Don't really want to be stuck with annual test this time of year.

It's there in the second paragraph of Summary of Revised Lighting and Visibility Requirements for Agricultural Vehicles http://www.rsa.ie/en/RSA/Your-Vehicle/Vehicle-Standards/Agricultural-Vehicles/Lighting-and-Visibility/
"Agricultural tractors and self-propelled agricultural machines must also be fitted with a flashing amber beacon, with an exemption from this requirement being provided for vintage agricultural tractors taking part in vintage rallies".

When i was young, people used to say that you won't have growth until daffodils are gone...........often think of it since, what really happens is that the cold weather preserves the blooms....once it heats up, the flowers go very quick.....always a logical reason for these old sayings and nothing to do with fairies and leprechauns :)

Hmmm dunno about that! Spent most of the evening trying to bring a calf back from crossing the river Styx, think it's turned a corner now though, fingers crossed. 3 ltrs of homemade electrolyte over the last few hours and she sucked a litre of milk with added glucose for me there now.

There must be some truth in it. There's oil seed rape not too far from me that started flowering before Christmas, stopped and started again during the last fine spell and it still isn't fully out!

Agree about Moore, but Springsteen has released great albums since Born.
The Rising and The Ghost of Tom Joad. Both classic albums.

Springsteen is one of the hardest working musicians there is. Constantly touring, an amazing live show.

Well over 3 and a half hours of live music from a man in his sixties.

No lip-sync, no dancers to hide poor music, no light shows, nothing but the man himself on stage.

The vast majority of todays 'stars' would be able to learn a lot from the best in the business.

But they're too busy taking selfies of their asses on instagram:rolleyes:

If you get a chance to see 'Springsteen and I', it's a fantastic look at him through the lives of fans.

Saw him in RDS in 08, fantastic experience, no warn up act, just him.
Went to Slane 07 with Rolling Stones, like Boss, you were there to here them, another fantastic experience.
These will be cherished, as with your wedding day, seeing your children being born, winning the Country title.

Went to U2 in Croker, seemed to only play for 40 minutes out of the hour & half they were on stage, sadly can't get that time back

I worked in a hotel when I was younger and Christy Moore used to play there every week. He used insist on the bar being closed when he played. It was the strangest thing ever, normally the bar would be 3 or 4 deep during the night.
