    Anyone any idea?
Could be a tag used for wildlife. Any pic?

ive a 1988 micra with 38k miles. Weirdly it has the exact same date of registration as my date of birth.

They are a great yoke! Is there any rust coming on her under the windows? She'll hold her value at this stage! You won't need another car for the next 20years!!

Kitchen has turned into a workshop again tonight.
I've no shed, so this'll have to do. :)

Is that the makings of a table? Fair play

Quick question for any of ye who have changed to commercial vehicles.

Thinking of changing my xtrail for something like a Partner 3 seater van.

Does my no claims bonus transfer over to the commercial insurance ?? Or am I going to just loose it and have to start building a new one ?

Looking for ways to reduce the running costs, Jesus with two yokes in the house it all adds up.

You still have a no claims bonus, just can't get protection on it.
Also commercial insurance is way up this year

You read my mind. I've been trying to justify running both to myself but it would be sheer madness.
I've heard the berlingo is doing 50+mpg from a lad that has one, is this what your finding ?

But if you are not doing huge mileage on the jeep every year is it worthwhile changing to the berlingo? 3 seats in the berlingo is an advantage I know.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

What is the best way to offer a springer at a mart, as in how do you show that she has 4 stars, 5 stars etc. I cant find a handy way on herdplus.

    Thanks for any help.

Well if you're on herdplus go into Reports>All Reports> Eurostar>Suckler Cow Report and print out her page.

If I'm not in the BDGP and subscribe to Herdplus will I be able to get star ratings for my Cows/Heifers?

I can generate a suckler cow report for anything that has calved previously. I can view details for any animal including stars but the best I have managed so far is to print a "screenshot" from the laptop with each individual animals details. I can also download details of all animals together which isn't suitable for bringing to a sale. I'm assuming there is a better way.

On ICBF/Herdplus go to View Profiles/Beef Euro Star and click on the animal you want to see. The individual details should come up and you can print this off (not a screen print).

Yup, Herdplus stars were in place before the BDGP.

Yea, Basic Herd, click on the tag and then right click and print, that should do it. Just a bit long winded.

My brother is driving it these days , I think he said he got 300 miles out of €20 . If that's right it's cheap driving . Very comfortable to get in and out of .

It's really the 3 seats that's handy . I had to get the full chassis welded on the jeep this year and that's why I bought the van for when it was out of action

No progress. Have done all i can think off, ran direct from a small drum of diesel, bypassing the filter completely, straight into the injector pump. No better. Then was advised to check the leak-off return from the pump back to the diesel tank, as there is a guaze filter in there, spent a couple of hours dropping washers and banjo nuts into akward places etc. but still no better. Either the injector pump is full of muck/frigged, or I am beginning to suspect the timing slipped somehow. Won't rev over 1800 and no power, yet quite a bit of diesel smoke.....
Might have to take the cover off the front of the engine and look at the belt. Would have to do this anyway to remove the pump. PITA

I hung up the keys of my 98 2.8 Pajero 2 years odd ago in favour of (initially) a 1.7 Opel Combo and replaced it last year with a 1.3 Combo. Easier to run and maintain. I getting average 65+mpg with a lot of that mileage running from Dublin to Longford and back.
I still keep the Pajero tested and insured thanks to OH's fleet policy but I run the risk of getting caught without tax the odd time that it is on the road. TBH it spends most of its time locked up in the yard or hauling fencing posts etc about both our farms. I will never sell it as it's the next best thing to the 880 but with more comfort smile.png

Tried that, didnt make any difference. If i get a chance tomorrow ill try and get the injector piup off. Have a good pump on the "spare parts/scrap" jeep so it's not going to cost money, just time.
