Here is that BA A380 from a few weeks back. I will see if I took a picture of it at the Gate.

Definitely just been an altitude bust of some sort at Dublin.
RYR80PN was in the SORIN hold descending to FL70 with EIN15N under him slow descending,
RYR80PN stopped at FL75 by approach radar very quickly and
EIN52J was told to make an immediate right turn with the A/P disengage in background.
Approach controller sounded very uneasy afterwards, will link ATC feed in a few after the hour.

Here is the feed: http://www.liveatc.net/archive.php?m=eidw4 Go to The 1230-1300z tape and it's at 16 minutes 45 seconds in, only a little clip but obviously something wasn't right.

EDIT: Anyone hear what happened for 1GE? I assume an aborted takeoff due to arrival spacing that wasn't going to work out but I didn't see a go-around. https://www.flightradar24.com/EIN1GE/93b7566

Maybe this has been discussed already but I'm still not getting the playback facility on Flightradar24 since the site was upgraded. When I hover over the clock symbol it says " global playback temporarily disabled due to capacity issues". I don't get to visit the site very often so I used to use the playback a lot before they brought in the changes.
    Anyone know what's the story??

I'm getting the same as a subscribed member.
On a separate note , anyone else getting the zoom in/out jumping about 4 ahead each way?

    Oddly:

"Once settled in, we go through the same safety briefing as any other airline"

I had assumed that briefing was only required for commercial flights but some web research shows that FAA Part 91 Subpart F ( non-commercial, non-fractional ) does indeed require familiarisation with the exit location / operation and safety systems:

    https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/91.519

    except:

"need not be given when the pilot in command determines that the passengers are familiar with the contents of the briefing."

If I, as a mere PPL, am taking up a passenger then I too must go through a safety briefing with them. It's standard all across the board.

I suppose it's simpler for the GoGo pilots to give a standard patter on every departure, in case there's someone onboard they haven't briefed before, but it's not mandatory for non-commercial flights in FAA jurisdiction if everyone's heard it before.

Oddly from what I can tell it is not illegal to smoke on Part 91 aircraft in the USA unless the aircraft is registered in a state or county that forbids smoking in a workplace. Hence the requirement for ash-trays.

Seem to love the alternate Runway at DUB this evening!

Jet2 PA31 G-IFIT appears to be inbound to Dublin from Leeds at 21:30.

Usually carries change-over crew or engineers to repair their 737s, like Ryanair's Learjets but on a more modest scale!

Note callsign is actually EXS007. Special agent, see? ;)

Saw earlier that EI 587 from AGP turned left just before Madrid, and went over Santiago and then up that way? Why the strange routing?

Probably to avoid French airspace, they're striking yet AGAIN.

Playback is working for me again for past couple of days and the site seems to have settled down after the gremlins last week :)

Things slowing down at DUB thanks to RWY16 ops, owing to the strong southerly wind today.

Ryanairs doing up to 4 rounds of holding, with none diverting! Not often you see that!
