    Waterford and Kerry.

You would think I could have seen both when I was in Cork but there was too much else to see and do. Ideally we could have spent another week.

My favourite part of the country is the Cliffs of Moher.

It is easier naming the places I have been than not.
Been in Derry, Tyrone, Armagh, Antrim, Down, Fermanagh, Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Monaghan, Leitrim, Cavan, Louth, Dublin, Mayo and might have been in Galway as a child I think?
So not had much time to see around the country yet, planning to see some more over summer if I can.

The North coast is spectacular, the Giants Causeway in particular are somewhere that everyone should have an opportunity to walk along. .

I am going to go to see The Giants Causeway this summer. I have always wanted to see it ever since my 5th class teacher told us about it but have never got round to it :)

Instead of paying, do not go through the visitor centre, there are pathways down to it otherwise, for free. Its not skipping a ticket either, they just make it look like you need to go through (and therefore pay) the visitor place.
    ;)

Just walk under the big arch. No bother.

    Kerry or Galway

I smiled when I read your post. I'm from Kerry and the other half is from

Galway. Well you have to go to both counties just for the scenery and the craic.

I've been to all 32 counties and a fair few islands. I would love to get to Tory though.

Tory is well worth a visit.. you should stay a couple of days, summer is the best time.

I have never been to Carlingford, Bangor and Newtonards... and some of the islands, Rathlin, Lambay, Valentia.

But I have been practically everywhere else in Ireland, more than once. In fact I can safely say that I know people from every county, and I have stayed in every county.

I have lived in Donegal, Derry, Dublin, Cork, Waterford, and Meath

I have been to every county in Ireland. But only to a handful of the islands. Inisturk and Clare Island really had an impression on me and would like to visit more. We have lots of beautiful places in Ireland but there is something extra special about the islands, scenery, ocean, wildlife, peace and quiet and an added quality that you can't quite grasp. Like holidaying abroad, at home.

Have been to all 32. There are some of the islands I have not been to though, would love to visit the Aran islands. Ireland is beautiful.

Spent the first 20 years of my life living in Kildare but never been to the national stud or Japanese gardens.

I have never seen the book of kells.

I've been to every county in Ireland. My in laws are a fairly massive family and are spread all over Ireland. My wife was in Queens so we travel up North fairly regularly too.

When it comes to so-called "staycations", I'm not very well traveled.
Galway is supposed to be great craic but I haven't been since my age was in single digits and they still had the old amusements in Salt Hill. Also never been to Kilkenny despite hearing lots of good things about the atomosphere and nightlife.
I'd like to pop up to Antrim some day and see the Giant's Causeway before the sea eats it.

I have never been to Connaught, Munster, west Leinster or Fermanagh.

I don't trust southerners or unionists so I stay away from them. I don't go to Belfast anymore either.

I was in Donegal yesterday but they are northerners in my eyes

I'm genuinely curious - why? I love it, wouldn't live anywhere else.
