Anyone else find the new fr24 site a bit of a pita?

I find the l/hand menu far too cumbersome with the need to scroll down to read the full content.

Also the ability to mouse-over the aircraft speed in knots to see the equiv. speed in mph is no longer available.

Seems that new makeovers of popular websites always drop some degree of functionality while adding needless clutter. The old fr24 in fairness did a pretty good job. The old saying - if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

A pain to use and very buggy.

It's logging me out every few minutes and is painfully slow too

I've opted into the Gold subscription which apparently allows you to view flight history as far back as 180 days, but when I try view the history of any aircraft, it only goes back about 5 days or so.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I have Gold but I can load flights back to March 1st. 2016.

I also have to refresh the page every time I return to it. Using Firefox, I have FR24 in a pinned tab but the flights don't seem to progress once I navigate away from the pinned tab, and I have to refresh when I revisit.

Only going back to March 14th / 15th for me on Chrome. I haven't tried Firefox yet, but March 1st is still way out from what they claim to offer.

Same issue here with frozen flights when I navigate away from the page.

I can't look it up on FR24 of course but I read that the two Kelowna DC-10 freighters have now been flown to storage in Canada. They had been operating the run to and from Brussels for a few months at the end of last year but became erratic in 2016 and appear to have given up the idea now.

Rumours on airliners.net that the DC-10s crews have been laid-off, so that's two fewer trijets in the skies :(

EI134 cancelled again according to Flightradar, was thinking they sent the 767 this morning to clear the backlog from yesterday, but either that wasn't the case or something went wrong.

    Any info anyone.

Seems G-POWD went tech in BOS too!

Crew rest would dictate that a Titan aircraft couldn't just turn around and operate a return leg, I'd say.

EI163 looks to have gone around at DUB.

Edit: Seems to be a flightradar error.

EI134 BOS-SNN cancelled again. That's EI-LBS, G-POWD and G-ZAPX all in BOS having operated EI135 but not the return.

Qatar 196 has just taken off from Brussels for Doha. I thought the airport was closed? There are a couple of DHLs inbound but no passenger flights in the air at all apart from the Qatar.

Seen a few flights positioning away from BRU today, without PAX I'd imagine.
