Motorbikes! Driving around the roundabout, making my turn and some idiot on a motorbike decides to pass me out. God I bloody hate meeting motorbikes on the road.

I'm used to getting made fun of and insulted for being fat so I don't pay much attention to it; but when someone older and fatter than me makes fun of me when I'm running, that's pretty annoying.

I made someone angry at me by accident:(

"Hey Shannon757, it's a lovely day go buy two 99s. I'll be back in a few minutes"
*Goes of into a clothes shop*
I go to the shop and buy two 99s.
*First person comes back from the shop*
    "Did you get the ice-creams?"
    "I did"
    "Where are they?"
    "I ate them"
    "Why"
"What else was I supposed to do with them?"
"I tought you would keep the other for me"
    *Storms off*

I had a minor collision today in the car.
Literally didn't feel I'd tapped off the car in front.

Caused very minor paint damage to other car. Exchanged insurance details and was told by my insurance company that they will sort the fella's damage out but that I will now lose my 50% no-claims bonus and my insurance will go up by 50% next year.

The other option is that I pay them the cost of the damage.
I would like to do that but I've no idea how much it'll cost until they post me a copy of the receipt.

Doesn't seem fair that I lose all my no claims AND have my insurance go up 50% over minor paint damage, but I suppose that's life.

I got more of a fright when it happened than anything else; this is the first time in my 9 years of driving that I've had an incident and I feel pretty shaken up by it.

On the plus side, my car isn't damaged and that'd be worse because I've done nothing but pump money into the car over the past year and I'm stony broke.

    Sigh, time for a cuppa.

It's a rotten feeling fussyonion. Mind yourself, sometimes the wobbles can hit long after the incident.

Someone made you buy a 99 for them, then left you waiting while it melted, and dribbled all down your hand? Sure if you hadn't eaten it it would have destroyed your clothes and littered the ground when it finally fell to bits.

Really, you did them a service, that trivially annoying person!

Trust me, you are better off paying form the damage yourself....don't go thru insurance unless it's over a couple of grand. Remember you lose your NC discount for five years.....

I honestly thought they wanted me to get two for myself. I'm really bad with instructions sometimes.

Ask the other driver to get an estimate - NOT a receipt - from 3 garages. That will give a fairer indication of the cost of repair. If its economical, pay out yourself rather than go through the insurance.

Hopefully, the other person will be above board but you never know.

OK, I take it back - I'd have made you go and buy me another one, ya eejit. But I wouldn't have wandered off and given it time to melt either :D

She was gone for 10 minutes so it would have been well gone by the time she got back, but I was convinced they were both for me.

TA that I'm stressing a bit over what should really be great news.
    Well, hopefully...

I'd be trivially annoyed that your friend took the huff over something as small (and delicious) as ice cream! If I was your friend I'd be in the pisses laughing. :D

So you run into me and damage my car, then you expect me to drag my car around to three garages for an estimate - that would be a fair TA

I have your insurance details....I know what I'd do
