So you run into me and damage my car, then you expect me to drag my car around to three garages for an estimate - that would be a fair TA

I have your insurance details....I know what I'd do

That's exactly what I did when someone crashed into my car.

I wanted them to know I wasn't ripping them off.

A diamond gem fell out of a chain I got for Christmas. I brought it back to the jewelers in January. In Feb I went back in to ask and they said they were still waiting. I went back in today and they said "oh if it's not back, it's not going to come back so just pick another one!" Grrrr. I picked a new one but they didn't even check if I was telling the truth or anything. Very annoying.

Also my eyes won't stop streaming when I get my eyebrows done. I look like a big baby.

Putting fuel into the car is unbelievably TA. Even though it has to be done, it always just feels like throwing money away. Don't think there has ever been a time when that fcuking fuel light has come on or the petrol gauge is near empty that I haven't let out a groan of frustration.

It's worth it for the times when he explodes, and he loses the doddery manner for a few minutes

Get invited to a mate's for dinner. Asked them what time I should call up and they said 6 or soon after. I arrived at ten past 6. We ate at 9.45.

He's like the antithesis of the typical strait laced, by the book presenter you'd see on bbc or itv.

People who cough in a series of little kinda suppressed coughs, when something is irritating their chest or caught in their throats, etc, etc.

Just give it one big blast to clear the airways. Then everything will be okay again.

That cheep-purr ad gets on my wick. Doesn't help when you see/hear it 10 times a day.

I would have left, I did it before. Got chips on the way home. We had friends over for dinner one Saturday night, a nice homemade curry and a fancy desert. They arrived at 7 and we sat down to eat at 7.30. We went to theirs a few weeks later, arrived at 7, I was starving. A couple of bowls of crisps and nuts on the coffee table, and then around 9pm she says, 'will I put the pizzas on?' And proceeds to open the freezer. I went to the jax, and came back and said I was leaving. Got a snack box on the way home. I should have known though, neither of them can boil an egg.
