You can backup and restore on the iPhone but its iCloud only, so it won't work cross device only if the device is the same (ie iOS to iOS / Android to Android)
But there are paid transfer programs via your pc or mac that do transfer the chat logs, but I can only find paid versions
Wazzupmigrator, you install on your pc after taking bacup on iphone, extract chat db ( website has all info and trial version let you extract), download app on phone, convert msg and install watsapp, migated 20000 msg today without media but there is extra step for media too.
If you want totally free then you can ask refund for app, but i kept it as to support dev. Good luck, takes less than 2 mins

Got an edge yesterday in Carphone Warehouse, was the last one in stock and being held for someone else.
Turns out they weren't able to get it till later on this week so they gave it to me (since they'll be ordering more in today/tomorrow)
Plus it was cheaper in CPW rather than argos. Only ended up costing me 300 after my one4all voucher

I ordered the gold edge. It said out of stock when I was ordering and that it would ship on the 22nd but I got a mail this morning to say it was on its way.
