I think I had that bumper splitter on a 1.4 Auris back in the day. Had the twin exhausts too. Weird thing is that the exhaust tip looks like the Toyota Motorsport one that comes on the twin exhaust...

    I think it is!

Marcinek you take really spectacular photos, you really have a talent for it. Unfortunately I'm usually uninterested in the cars you take pictures of :o (sorry).

If you could, and you don't mind taking the time, I think it would be brilliant if you could put together a post of "hints and tips" that might help us amateurs take better pictures of our cars. I'm useless of taking photos but occasionally take one that turns out really good(by accident :pac:). If you could help us understand just very basic tips for what makes a good photo of a car it would be brilliant. :)

    Might you consider it?

^^ First tip buy an expensive camera like a DSLR and then spend more on different expensive lenses.

    Well I don't think that's true. Even so I have a DSLR anyway :)

Saw this yesterday, the guy gave it the beans a bit when he saw me talking the pic! It's some form of Murcielago, i asked what type and I think he said it's a competizione but i dunno if they even exist! Can anyone shed some light? Pretty cool reg and the spoiler looked pretty badass imo.

Also saw this yesterday afternoon, beautiful car but an absolutely horrendous colour! That in black would be insanely cool.

    nope. they're 5 speed. 130bhp.
drove one 15 years ago. thought it was so fast!

Very quick car considering the weight of it.

not sure id agree. the sporting was close enough to it in real life from a 1.2
motorzone in limerick had a green hgt they couldn't sell for years.
my 1.8 diet-vtec civic has similar performance figures to that hgt despite being bigger and heavier.

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭bear1

The hgt was good for almost 130mph and the 1.2 sporting wasn't able for that.
I think the 0-60 times were almost the same.
If I had to choose I would actually go for the 1.2 sporting or if it was possible to buy one the 1.4gt mark 1.
