I parked near this absolute beauty today, I wish I could have got a few snaps of the front but it wasn't possible with the way it was parked.

That dealer sticker looks so crap in the back window! Looks like something that you would find in a 60s Anglia or something.

    Lovely lovely car though

I completely agree, removing them is the first thing I do when I buy a car.

If I had a new car like that I wouldn't be burying it into a hedge! (or is it just the photo angle?)

    Not the camera angle sadly.

That focus could be a diesel as well couldn't it? Is there anyway of telling with out hearing it?

A diesel focus, what's so special about it?

edit: oh, it's the STD... 180 hp from a 2l diesel...

But there's zero visual difference in it and the real one isn't there?

Got a new camera last week, still learning how to use it but spotted this in Belfast on Sunday. Not sure why the R8 never really did it for me but I liked something about this

I was thinking the same thing, I think in modern parlance the cool kids refer to them as STI

You'd swear they weren't proud of a diesel ST when they don't differentiate it at all from the petrol one.

Or are things gone so bad now that people who buy the petrol performance version of a car are happy to have it look like the diesel version so the neighbours won't judge them???

How is the 180ps Diesel ST estate 3 grand more expensive than the 250ps petrol ST estate......nice car though, the blue looks great

Bigger demand and more production costs for the diesel :D

Gtd is more expensive than the gti too. Would have assumed the opposite with vrt being applied as a percentage depending on co2.

Is that the mclaren that was posted before? Previously matte grey..

Owned by some guy who makes YouTube videos apparently

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,213 ✭✭✭PrettyBoy

Seen loads of posts recently regarding the two brothers/twins from Meath that make YouTube videos and go through quite a few supercars.

They previously owned two Audi R8's - one wrapped matte black, one wrapped gloss white.

    2coon5x.jpg

One of them has a black Ferrari 458 (also saw a pic of a white 458, could be a different car or could be the black car wrapped).

    258cby8.jpg

Think the other one recently got a McLaren 12C - the grey one that was spotted a few weeks ago was apparently wrapped orange.

The orange McLaren in the pic posted today is a totally different car though - different plates, bodykit, wheels, etc. but it was spotted close enough to where the other orange one was so I wouldn't be surprised if it belongs to the same guys.

The white R8 V10 probably belongs to them too.

...I'm off to start a YouTube channel

Is this the one that's currently on Carzone? As says 675bhp, is a mistake or was it remapped? Anyone know?
