Just ordering. Will I have to pay customs on this purchase? Also should I choose priority shipping?

got it this morning, installed a few hours ago but not noticed anything new. haven't played with the camera to see the raw functionality though

Flashed it this morning (my phone is rooted), seems a bit quicker (but that might be my imagination), and the fingerprint reader seems better - faster and more reliable.

that's the one thing that has struck me in the last hour, the fp reader seems much sharper

    Lads,
The phone got delivered this morning so i'll be playing with it later when I get home.

Just checking there and its dual sim and nano sim. Are both sim slots nano sim? If so I'll have to get the micro sim swapped over after work.

Both nano. If your micro Sim is not too old it probably has a nano Sim perforation so you can push it out. My wife's Vodafone Sim had anyway.

I've just switched over from my OPO to my new shinny OPTwo, but I can't seem to get a 3G signal. I gave the signal bar with an R beside it.
I'm with tescomobile and never had a problem with my OPO.
    Any ideas?

With these virtual network operators you sometimes have to enable roaming, my wife has to on a OnePlus x on the 48 network where I don't in a OnePlus One on iD Mobile. Just play with toggling it on and off and actually leave it some time to see if it's worked, don't judge instantly, give it time

Are there anymore of those vouchers knocking about folks?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 156 ✭✭icanmunch

those that have the phone, would you recommend it?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,387 ✭✭✭✭Jayop

Very much so, especially with the price drop.

Also, one of the biggest complaints people have had was the fingerprint scanner not working some times and the latest update seems to have solved that.

Great, am I right in saying the new price is 345? I cannot find any vouchers online for the life of me!

There's usually vouchers in the OP forums.

I've been waiting for a proper CyanogenMod update to hit the OP2 they finally get it up and running with laser auto focus and the fingerprint working and I somehow manage to mess up my fingerprint reader it's absolutely non responsive, only think I can think of is I had it in my pocket while in the gym this morning and sweat or such messed it up

The fingerprint/home screen button has now died on my girlfriend's OP2 after about 4 months, not too happy!

Anyone else have the same problem?

edit: I wrote laptop initially, no idea why!

Careful if you're using the 3/11 build of this, there's a force close error with com.android.phone if you reboot along with a regular wifi-dropout. Basically you have to do a clean flash and then not reboot if you want the phone to work reasonably well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,777 ✭✭✭sentient_6

I briefly flashed the 11th on top of the 9th and only thought the phone was hotter and getting a bit more battery drain, so restored nandroid and Im still on the 9th now, its running great so might easy up on flashing for awhile.

True story, surprised myself but so far so good will see how long I stick it.

As for my phone my fingerprint reader is now working again as of this morning. Big fan of CM13 which had been running smoothly compared to stock OOS which had been very lagey even on the new update. Only gripe with CM13 is the camera isn't all that but hopefully they'll have it sorted soon.

Folks I am trying to deliver to Parcel Motel but its not accepting any variations of the address? I keep getting "Sorry, currently we cannot ship to this address." Any suggestions?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,077 ✭✭✭sok2005

Why parcel motel? Delivery is free to Ireland.

I thought shipping to a UK address might be a bit quicker?
