    Being in my nappy.

I'm not a Star Wars fan but I did see the recent movie. Did you like me think that the noises uttered by Chewbacca were a lot more decipherable than in previous SW movies?

I would lean towards him being a pompous twat.

If Jim Beam, Johnnie Walker and Jack Daniels all got together whose whiskey would they drink?

Detective, type novels like the Ian Rankin Rebus series or Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch.

Is being a seperated/divorced, rule breaking, functioning alcoholic type a prerequisite to being a good detective?

I've read them all except the latest one which is waiting for me when I finish the book I'm on.

Have you or would you consider visiting the place where a book is set?

Yes, one of Ian Rankin's best characters IMHO

Have you seen Rankin on the Staircase, in which he investigated the relationship between real-life cases & crime fiction on BBC4?

Yes, actually had to do one about 2 weeks ago, turned out pretty good. Few people said it was very professional. :)
