Yeah like why go to the moon when you can spend a weekend in Killarney.

    That would have been me.

Last week. Little 5 year old legs too tired/lazy to make it up the stairs to bed.

Can you fall asleep on the couch?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,646 ✭✭✭✭qo2cj1dsne8y4k

Yep. I can sleep comfortably on a 2 seater.
What age did you stop growing at

Maybe a few days...a week or more would be going overboard.

Do you know your port from your starboard?

I do - from Sci Fi references only (Star Trek etc).

    Do you like Science Fiction?

No, I'm not really into science fiction at all.

What's the difference between an astronaut and a cosmonaut?

I am although I don't think I own one recording of theirs.

Will you have a hard day's night tonight?

You say yes, I say no.

Would you visit a museum on holiday?

Depends on the location and weather. Museum loses out to Beach every time. Otherwise - yes.

Have you ever had a boozy lunch and gone back to work in the afternoon?

Maybe for an hour or so, but would never do anything really deemed "work" - just avoid it.

Have you ever turned up for work still drunk, the next day after a session?

Kind of. Got home after a work night out at 4.30am and was on a bus by 8am. My room was spinning when I tried to get off my bed and I was praying for death. When I arrived to work (on time) barely anyone else was in, most rocked up way late and the managers treated us to breakfast rolls and we all spent the day feeling very fragile. Despite the kindness of the managers at the time...... never again!

Have you ever drank so muck that you got sick?

Most weekends it's usually from shots though

Why do shots always seem like a wise choice

    Yes.

Have you ever turned up at the airport for a holiday abroad and had forgotten your passport?

I did it on my way home from Frankfurt.

As I'm European and had a soft copy of my passport, police issued me an emergency certificate to travel. I was really glad to be a middle class white person that day.

Isn't there a grand stretch in the evening?
