can you try a different SIM too? Heard they lock to the first network SIM inserted.

Aye I heard that too, I needed mine to work with Eir as it was my wifes Voda upgrade. TBH I am loath to put a Voda sim near it in case anything changes!

Stuck waiting until Friday to get my preorder from Carphone Warehouse on Three. They did change my early preorder from the S7 to the Edge though so I'll still get the free Gear VR.

Was due an upgrade with Vodafone in April - rang them and they bumped me up to being eligible now!

Now to decide on the S7 or the Edge - the latter costing €400 on my plan

Picked this up on the way to work this morning, hasn't been my most productive day at the office. Great device, can't get over how fast the autofocus is!

Anyone know when they'll be available to waltz into a shop and buy one pay-as-you go? (wasn't as organised as some of ye who pre-ordered:( )

Carphone Warehouse lists them all as 'Out of Stock'

I pre ordered(with Meteor) but seeing the price Vodafone were selling the phone for I wanted to switch to them, Meteor was 450 and Vodafone was 250. Went in today and asked if I could just get the Vodafone version, they said it wasn't possible but if I came in Friday that's when the official launch is. So I presume they'll have payg phones on sale then too.

anyone having problems with the s7 edge freezing then restarting?? It was doing it yesterday, has done it around 7 times today. sometimes with colored artifacts before restarting.
I came from a vodafone smart ultra 6 with zero problems.. Annoying to see this from a premium device

Is the IR blaster gone from both models or just the S7 edge?

sorta annoying that it would go, some times it just comes in handy.

That doesn't sound right. Mine has given me no problems.

On the Gear VR, it's a nice device, but I think the screen on the S7 isn't sharp enough. Watching videos etc, you can still see the pixels.

I believe the back button on the bottom left should work in the browser as well.

It's included. I suggest you avoid losing it at all costs. It's hard to find original ones (online) and they're expensive.

The 3 pin plug charger is a fast charger, the free wireless charger Voda sent out as an extra is not.

I thought you lucky devils who have already taken possession of a spanking new S7, or are just about to, would appreciate this:

    It's VERY handy.
Adaptive Fast Charging recharges your Galaxy S7 edge up to 50% in about 30 minutes

I'm not sure about that, you better wait for an "expert". Samsung calls it "Adaptive Fast Charging", I don't know if it's the same technology or if chargers are compatible.

Done it again... Really don't want the hassle of sending it back. has pissed me right off.
