Talking about biros, my TA is that I don't seem to be able to get those BIC biros with a fine ballpoint any more, they were yelloy/orangy on the outside - I've been told they've been discontinued. Poo.

Aaaaaghh! A BIC is a ballpoint pen, as is a Biro(he invented it) so you can't have a BIC Biro....:mad

Same as people referring to the Samsung vacuum cleaner as a "Hoover"

    I'm sorry, it's Monday and I'm tired:)

You're correct of course but they have been widely accepted terms for the entire range of related products for several generations

Yes you can, because BIC makes razors too.

That was it!! I could not remember for the life of me what else they made. I could've Googled it but that's admitting defeat :P

Ah yes, but that's my TA, and I never refer to any vacuum cleaner as a Hoover, unless it actually is Hoover.

But you still can't have a BIC Biro...only a BIC pen.

Dunno about the razor thing, I always call a razor a razor...is that a brand? If so I am guilty of my own TA, and that really is annoying:)

Saw a few more blinkered people walking like zombies. Was a guy in a motorised scooter/wheelchair trying to weave through them.

Came very close to shouting at them to make room. I'd install an air horn from an artic if I ever need one.

    END OF PEDANTIC COMMENTS.

Same here, lads. Woke up in the afternoon yesterday. Not a hope of an early night.

Same here, but I was afraid to go to sleep, having had the squirts all evening...:(
Ive the opposite problem here..I had a duvet day yesterday and had no problem sleeping all night,I honestly think that if I didnt work I would happily spend my life in the leaba:o

Driving home just now and had a car glued to my bumper and of course it was a p*ick in an Audi,I hate to generalise but they do all seem to be as bad as each other (including the 2 in my own family).:(

    I really hate that.

I also do 10% more on the speedometer as I've heard that they can under read. furthermore, I sometimes do another 10% then again, so I'm definitely meeting the speed limit and a bit over. Regardless of that, I regularly have big knobs stuck to my bumper, half over the dividing line etc. Hate them.

Edit: this isn't on motorways or dual carriageways either, so it's not like I'm in the middle lane or the likes.

TA'd that I made chocolate rice krispie cakes last night and the cooking chocolate I used to put on top of them is slightly too bitter for my tastes. Should've used milk chocolate IMO... :/
Also annoyed that my eyes are constantly itchy, meaning my eyeshadow and liner keeps getting smeared. Guarenteed I'm going to end up looking like Furiosa before the evening's out!

Had such a sh1tty day, just got myself a tub of ice cream and a bottle of vodka. I have an appointment at the hospital at 8.15 tomorrow morning, great that I will be hungover on a Tuesday :P

It was massive, it may have had a permit but I didn't see the front of it, twas in a multi-storey carpark, nose to barrier.

One of my kittens was lying on the bed with his paws in the air, he had his eyes closed and he wasn't moving. I thought he was dead. I was nearly crying until my boyfriend picked him up. Turns out the little f***** was pretending to be asleep :O my bloody heart was in my mouth. Thanks Luna :(
