    Well done.

Oh sure I am an expert don't you know, 100% record :D

(in races that After Hours is running in !!)

He's only gone and won! Congrats After Hours!

I was aware that he was entered during the week but a couple of days of fighting fellow Christmas shoppers and throwing my money away had scrambled my brain and it totally slipped my mind last night.

I mentioned last time how he was waiting for his handicap mark and that he'd be interesting when he got one. Today he indeed ran in his first handicap and sure enough he got up and won in a close finish at 6/1. (11:55 Haydock)

Although a tight finish the first and second were well clear of the rest and I think both could be good horses.

Well thanks for that aftertiming! :D

Well thanks for that aftertiming! :D

You should all be following the After Hours horse without my input!

I told you last time that he'd be interesting this time. Do you want me to place your bets for you too!? :P

Anyway this isn't all about betting. It's about the mighty After Hours (the horse!).

    3.45 Taunton, 11/4 second fav!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,059 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

After Hours goes again in the Taunton 3.45, up 10lbs for his recent win, if he jumps he looks solid for a place at worse current odds 4.00 (3/1) on PP

Oops late to the party! :D The odds have lengthened slightly - is that despite or because of boards punters? :p

    And the result:

    1st 6 Sea Wall (FR) C Gordon 8 11-0 h Tom Cannon

    3rd 4½ 7 Lochnagar (GER) Miss V Williams 7 10-11 L Treadwell
    4th 5 After Hours (IRE) Henry Oliver 7 11-0 J M Davies

4th - the most stupid place for a horse to finish.

    Unless it's a 16 (or more) runner handicap ;)

Only 7 ran so even 3rd was a loser today

Had you backed After Hours every race at €1.00 per race you'd be €16 in profit (betfair prices)

    OK I should gamble more.

I won't because if I were to put anything I couldn't afford on anything I would be sick as a .....

Bit like life rally, always taken the safe course - too late now

If he doesn't have a good chance at 6/4 he never will!

Finished 7th! 15 lengths off the winner.

The field was 6/1 bar After Hours!, the winner was 16/1

I'm disappointed that he doesn't win every race by blasting all the other horses with piss.
