I've brought Paloschi in for Giroud before he drops in price again.

95% certain I'll bring in Kompany too.

    Edit - it's either

    O'Shea or Bellerin for Kompany.

    or

Sanchez or Payet for Yaya or Siggy.

    What would you do ?

Will likely do Lukaku to Aguero....

Is anyone else concerned that he might be rested or taken off early?? Half tempted to take a punt on Itchynacho instead but prob won't have the ballz to do it

What would he be rested for though?

    Not a lot I guess....I'm desperately seeking differentials :-)

Want to get Siggy in as well but not sure who to bump??

Have Mahrez, Arnie, Alli,Sanchez and Firminio.

Alli probably the most likely (?)....is it worth a hit to get Siggy and Aguero??

Why did Siggy only play 45 mins midweek?

There's a lot of Siggy talk here. I feel like I'm missing out on something. I want to get Kompany in for Nyom which means downgrading Payet but I can't afford Siggy (was looking at Ayew/Arnie).

    Now I'm looking at alternatives.
Nyom / Payet -> Kompany / Ayew (or Arnie)

    vs

    Azpilicueta / Payet -> Kompany / Siggy

I'm chasing in my leagues so it's all GW30 prep.

For what it's worth I had a dream last night that Sanchez regressed to the mean big style!

    David Silva or Raheem Sterling???

I have a feeling one of these could be rested, neither in great form but surely City will give Villa a drubbing

Going to take out Bellerin but undecided between VVD and Kompany as a replacement.

Man City at home to Villa should have me picking Kompany, but they were stink on Wednesday. There is also 0% chance VVD will be rotated over the next few weeks.

Okay, I'd like to get Sigurdsson in for his next 3 games. It also helps that the guy behind me in my league also has him.

I have a midfield of: Mahrez Ozil Payet Arnautovic Alli.

I have 11 players for GW30, playing a 4-4-2. I'll have 13 if Arsenal lose to Hull in the FA Cup.
Are Arsenal the only team that can still have a blank in GW30?

I'm undecided whether to bank, drop Arnautovic or Payet.
I'm tempted to drop Payet because of his upcoming blank but my rival also has him so I'm scared of him producing a big score.
I only got Arnautovic last week so dropping him soon seems a waste and also feels like I'm frivolously using a transfer that could be better helping with GW30 coming up.

    What would others do?

    My team is: Butland Hennessey
    Bellerin Alderweireld Simpson Daniels Bertrand
    Alli Mahrez Ozil Payet Arnautovic
    Kane Vardy Aguero

    1FT and 1.9 in funds.
I'm happy enough with my team, it's just the little midfield dilemma.

I'm guessing the manager expected defeat against Arsenal. He made 5-6 changes to his starting 11, probably to rest players for Nowich.

At half time is was 1-1 so he threw on Siggy to go for the win.

Again I think it all depends on when you WCing or if you have.
Post GW34 Moreno is a hold and no to Williams, Kompany yes.
Stanislas will miss the next 3 GWs but your short a def for GW30......bank the transfer imo.

Thinking Kompany in for Bell to make me stronger this week. Arsenal defence will struggle even further with Cech out the next month also

I was thinking about Zabaleta instead. Too much of a rotation risk? He's started the last 3.

Sagna was injured for some of those games. H came back for the Kiev game and started the C1C Final. Looked to me like he was rotated on Wednesday so I'd expect Sagna to start TBH.

    Siggy or Silva?

Shipping out Sanchez - stuck with him long enough and think they'll come through against hull in the fa cup. Anyone considering Sterling over Silva? I know Sterling's finishing has been piss poor but he does get on the end of more chances than Silva - and you'd expect them to have plenty chances against villa! Not like Silva has been setting the world alight either.

I'd consider Sterling if you haven't used your 2nd wildcard and aren't reliant on keeping him all the way up to GW35

Appreciate the replies. I would like Kompany but am .2 short. Will look at other options.

Did Hennessey to Forster. With Cech out he'd have played this weekend, and I'm not having a Palace player in my starting XI right now. I'm now set for GW30 too with the likelihood of having no goalkeeper, so it was a no-brainer for me.

    Cech replacements people. Cech replacements.

Everything's going towards electronic payments these days :)

Butland or Fab maybe, who cares really, none of them have stood out this season.

Hart or Schmeichel for me, Fabianski is a possibility with their fixtures but they rarely keep cleansheets.

Kompany, Daniels, Leicester defender, or even a Swansea defender?

(wildcard still available if that helps)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 212 ✭✭Fant11

McCarthy might start tmr. Pardew said Hennessey is struggling. Might be a nice reprieve for Cech/McCarthy holders.

Why so much love for Siggy and Silva?

After these posts above I stars thinking about Ayew or Sterling? Tell me why not lads?

Yaya in for Sanchez. Bla Bla Bla. Maybe the big man can help me into the top million

    All out on City:

    Nyom -> Kompany
    Sanchez -> Sterling

Set up with 11 players for next week so can roll over the transfer to have two for GW32.

    Butland
    Kompany, Dawson, Alderweireld
    Sterling, Ozil, Payet, Mahrez
    Vardy, Aguero (c), Kane

    Subs: Simpson, Smith, Alli

Still undecided on my best 11 though!

Pretty sure it'll be Speroni in.

Also I wouldn't fancy any Palace keeper getting much joy against a Liverpool team that beat City 3-0 midweek.
