I needed the initial email too to prove that I had reserved it at the lower price.

No wonder there were none in stock the amount of people reserving and not buying.

No wonder there were none in stock the amount of people reserving and not buying.

Its true but everyone has there reasons. I tried reserve one in Tralee but got the empty email, so then reserved one in Killarney.

The following day, I tried Tralee again and it worked this time but had to wait for it to come into stock. Then I got the text to say its ready for collection in Killarney so I had to drive past the Tralee store to get mine in Killarney.

Last night I got the text to say its ready for collection in Tralee. So if someone else missed out, I'm not going to lose sleep cos I have myself a nice new 49". And on top of that I also now have a Tralee reservation that I can share with my fellow boardsies.

Drop me a PM with your email if anyone wants one for Tralee.

Collected my reservation today, they honoured the 439.99 price.
    It's a beast of a thing!

My TV stand is only 900mm across, so I had to turn the included stand legs, inwards, in order for the TV to fit on it.

If anyone else is struggling with getting it to fit on their stand, turn the legs facing in, it'll save you 5-6" on each side.

I use the LG Remote Control APP.

Select Lg Tv Model on list & pair.
    Much easier to use.

Using an app called LG TV Plus on my iPhone.
Works great and has a built in mouse pad so works like the magic remote that my dad has on his Sony.

Can I air play you tube etc to this tv?
My sister is looking for one and I know I can do it on my LG one from this BA but I'm not sure of the name of the feature to look for it?

Have a reservation code for Castlebar valid until 7pm tonight if anyone wants it.

    Code taken

Thanks to this generous boardsie I'm now the proud owner of this TV! My dad picked it up and they tried to charge him the higher price! I had him well warned beforehand not to accept and they honoured the lower price ðŸ‘

    Happy out!

Collected mine from Liffey Valley earlier and got it at the lower price without email. Thanks to another bordsie for the code and thanks to the original poster for sharing. Great bit of kit for the money and right up there with my other two favourite bargains ie Smart Ultra 6 and Bean to Cup coffee machine.

Just want to say thanks to the OP and the other poster who gave me their code. I picked mine up today and it certainly is a fantastic tv.

I haven't got to get really into all the features but the OS and WiFi are very good. An absolute steal for €440.

Like several others, I'll have to have buy a new stand to sit it on but its a small price to pay.

Thanks to the Original Poster and to Papacharlie for obliging me with the code. I collected it last night and am hugely impressed with it. Its a very substantial screen and dwarfs my previous 40 inch Samsung.

Would this still be decent value out of interest at the current price?

On the off chance that someone has a reservation code for Athlone, I'd be much appreciative.

    Thanks!

Box is huge, no room in the back of my a6 for kids with it.

Flash harry there with his hatchback :p

I'd say you'd be screwed without either hatch or fold-down seats though, in a lot of cars.
