well Three wont be shipping early

    Order Date: 22/02/2016
Order Status: Order Out Of Stock
    Status Date: 01/03/2016
Product Description: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - Black
    Status: Item Accepted
    Item Status Date: 22/02/2016

I did get an email saying they were out of stock and delivery will be delayed but down further in yellow it said if its pre ordered it will be delivered on time. the order status wasn't always out of stock, I think it changed the next day

They have already stated pre-orders will be shipped early for delivery on the 8th. The out of stock is showing because they haven't added them to the system yet.

Apparently they don't have any insurance. Something I don't get. Why would any use a service that has zero responsibility.

I always thought it should be illegal for a company to accept money for courier service and accept zero liability for something goes wrong. What possible reason do they have to make sure your package is safe.

Make sure to increase your liability when you get word it has shipped from unlockedmobiles. Don't take any chances with the Parcel Motel crowd.

Did you increase your insurance limit with Parcel Motel? Might be worthwhile considering it as the standard liability amount is only €100.

To increase that limit you can pay extra. ..
    €500 Cover – for 14 days at a cost of €3.50
    €1000 Cover – for 14 days at a cost of €7.00
    €1500 Cover – for 14 days at a cost of €10.50

I will do it closer to the time. Want to make sure I get the dispatch notice and everything is in motion.

Is it confirmed that Samsung UK won't deliver to Parcel Motel? They haven't cancelled my order...

With all this talk of insurance and AddressPal, I'm considering waiting until it is released and buying it in a shop. Too expensive to be messing around with.

If I can't get it here then I might wait until I'm in Edinburgh in 5 weeks time. Really don't fancy taking a risk on it.

I was considering ordering it from Samsung and using parcel motel but feeling a bit unsure now. First time moving away from iPhone since the 3gs.

Are there any reasons (other than the gear VR) why people aren't using unlocked-mobiles?

More so Samsung are against selling direct to Irish customers, or at least willing to ship to Ireland.

Many retailers are selling the sim free units that will ship to Ireland. Would be nice if we had some retailers selling sim free in Ireland, but honestly, I believe that can be said about most tech.

UK retailers mostly ship here, so most Irish retailers are incapable of competing against them for pricing. Even with the sterling being much stronger than the Euro. It's also worth nothing that we don't have a huge market for sim free phones. Most people here go for the bill pay/pre pay deals.

Got the Samsung wireless charging pad today, from the eBay seller I linked. Brand new in box, and thankfully genuine. Less than €20 posted. Looks great and is nice and compact (can be easily packed into a suitcase if you're going away somewhere. Well worth it.

Did it come with a power adaptor, or just the straight up wireless charger.

No power adapter. You just use the Samsung brick that your phone came with. The box is quite small.

Letterbox small? I ordered mine to the house in the hope it would be.

Yep letterbox small. However, strangely it was sent tracked with RoyalMail's 24 service so needed to be signed for. Postie delivered mine to my neighbour as I'm never home!
