There really is only one word that sums up the character and the bad news.... Feck!!!

I had Dermot Morgan for a teacher when I was in school and every Friday afternoon Dermot would stop class take a radio out of his bag and switch on the Frank Kelly Show. Great memories RIP to the both of them.

He was a great actor throughout : not just for that, but long before.
    Hall's Pictorial Weekly.

He was a staple in my 1970s two-channel-land childhood, especially through Halls Pictorial, and so i'm very sad to hear this news today.

    May he rip.

Anyone else think the title should be changed to RIP Frank Kelly?

RIP to a great. 2016 is taking the piss now.

Campaigning for Fr McGuire to officiate the funeral.

    Probably not a good idea.

RIP to Frank though. Was just watching him in Father Ted last night. He was a true gentleman in real life. RIP

That man gave us so many lines that annoyed so many teachers .

    Hugely loved and respected man.

    Actor Frank Kelly has died

    RIP

I had his book (lost by a prick, never get another copy) about Ballykilferret, and still have a vinyl album of some sketches. Never given enough credit, imo.

Oh No. Not Frank Kelly. You were a great actor that gave me a lot of laughs RIP.

And it happens on the same day that Dermot Morgan died 18 years ago. That is a real shock to the system.

2016 is becoming a real morbid ****ebag of a year it has to be said.
