Not if bought sim free anyway. You gonna do the 24 month payment plan?

Yes that is my plan. I have a northern address so can use it anyways.
Will it also be available on the Irish store too though?

Samsung don't have an Irish store online unfortunately. Do you think I'd be able to avail of the monthly plan using ParcelWizards NI address?

Nope. Hard to come across. US has plenty of them AFAIK. I still prefer black tbh :o The reflections are crazy on the gold and silver apparently.

Silver is best for hiding fingerprints, AFAIK. The dark ones are fingerprint magnets.

    Exactly opposite in this case.

The gold was showing the prints way more than the black device.

Here are some pics I took.

Here are some more images of the phones. The black does come across somewhat plain, and the silver would have probably been a hard choice not to get if it was available.

The gold is less over the top than I thought. I still think the black is the way to go. Compared to the S6 Edge it's proper black and not blue-ish like the s6 was.

    Samsung S6 for comparison.

The black screen looks much worse than what it was, I guess the light caught it badly. The always on screen dims the display a decent amount as well. However, it was still very visible to read the clock.

I was leaning towards Gold. But judging by your pics, it's a total fingerprint disaster. Is it really that bad??

Their noticeable alight, but regardless of how good a phone looks, I think anyone spending this money on something like this really needs to put a cover.

I have said it in every phone review I have done. A cover is the difference between a drop being an oversight to a couple of hundred euro oops.

Fingerprints on the screen are more of a concern, but the when the display is on, you can't remotely see them. A screen protector is also important, but they can be an issue with the edge display, and possible the gear vr.

If you have insurance, then breaking it is just an inconvenience mostly, but I would never recommend using a phone this expensive without some form of protection.

That glass back will get ruined in no time with scratches and possible dents. That ruins the look of the phone way more than a cover does. In fact, I quite like the look of most phones when I use a UAG cover.

I reviewed the UAG Ash cover on the HTC One M9 and it looks amazing.

I got a chance to play with the S7 edge today, I definitely think I'll be buying it.

Anyone who doesn't put their phone in a cover nowadays is just asking for trouble. I got my first smart phone in 2009 and have never even had as much as a broken screen, they are too delicate to not protect them.

I'll post some pics later today. Had the S7 for a while unchained. It's a fingerprint magnet, I'd the black one.

I Have a few cases on the way from some case companies i deal with one is from UAG which is quite nice and several others, waiting for cruzerlite to get in touch for these too.. I have the magma ones coming which i thought look different the cases are generally good but i prefer cruzerlite having said that the edge would need a bit more protection
