The two Ford Rangers to be based at Roundwood & Baltinglass stations

Easier to hose out the 'luggage area' if they round up a few stray sheep

An Easter break in the Republic of San Marino ( near Rimini in Italy ) ?

Very 'colourful' uniforms , the m/cycles are 'practical' for the mountainous tracks (the MV Agusta's are Milan Traffic police  )

Wonder would an 'advance unit' be any use in getting things ready for the fire trucks when they arrive as seconds count when you're dealing with fire ?

And what about scooters for inner city Garda work instead of the larger
    Deauvilles / BMW's

Regarding the discussion thread on the Queen's RR and it's Irish plates/UK tax disc , I knew I'd remembered Bill Clinton's Cadillac 1 having an Irish reg. plate on it in '95, here it is at 2.40 on

Seems strange / bureaucratic to be putting Irish plates on visiting dignitaries cars that are only here for a few days

Looking at yesterday's N11 Hyundai 'ghost' car, now New Jersey State Police 'Ghost' patrol car pops up , but it's in response to fake cops out there

    http://www.newsworks.org/index.php/local/new-jersey/82265-state-police-put-ghost-cars-on-patrol-to-catch-bad-drivers-

The Chevy 4x4 looks meaner than the RR's / LC200

As for the Camaro - 'Laser Speed Enforcment', that a laser gun or the acceleration of the Camaro

New light modifications on windscreens replacing dashmasters

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,499 ✭✭✭Capri

Has anyone seen the GSOC use the marked cars they have?

3 times I've seen the Volvo they have and it looks like there is a garden growing around it.

Must be parked outside a lot and not getting much use - this winter's rainfall has moss on anything that's not moving

New light modifications on windscreens replacing dashmasters

Saw an MH reg Avensis with a stick on strobe mounted near the top of the windscreen, though quite a lot of the strobes don't seem to be fitted into the light unit correctly - even saw an old Astra with the 'milky white ' rear indicator lens http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/images/g/T0oAAOSwDN1UUglB/s-l225.jpg and the strobes could hardly be seen

I was looking through some of my old pics from when I first got a digital camera and there are a few that are relevant. I remember when I first got it I'd take a pic of anything semi interesting, as the novelty of not wasting film was so new.

The first one is interesting, a spot near Heuston station where it looks like out of commission cars were stored.

Here are two City of London Police cars. The Volvo has no COLP markings, so I think it might be a demonstrator.
