Well she does have the dinner ready when I get in, fair play to her.
I make her a cup of tea after dinner as a treat.

My TA for tonight is - when you put your pyjamas on the radiator to warm up for that extra cosy feeling when you wear them before bed, and for some reason you find that one leg, part of the left arm and of the right shoulder are still freezing cold. :(

Finding yourself constantly confronted with liquorice, pomegranate, parsnip, chick peas and kale is extremely unusual!

Not usually but when I visit my relatives they seem to forget, so I have to mention it (and sometimes my allergies) and they make me seem like a dick when I did but if I don't somehow kale and chickpeas have snuck into the bolognese and parsnip into the stew. Liqourice and pomegranates are much less common but can appear as flavouring in sweets by accident :(I try not to make a fuss but then my cousin asks why I didn't eat my veges when she has to and it spirals. The other side can be worse though as they kept putting things I'm allergic to into my dinner as they didn't believe me until I started vomiting

    Gaaaahhh socially awkward penguin moments.

In A&E today, nice secretary/receptionist lady was taking my details. Name, address, date of birth, the usual. Then, "Are you on your own?"

Me: "Oh. Um. Yeah, I am. I used to have a boyfriend and baby, but they left me because of my mental health issues. It really sucks. But there you go, yeah, I'm all alone now."

Her: "Errrr ... thanks, but that's not what I was asking ... I meant do you have anyone here with you in the hospital today. Oh ... sorry for your troubles ... now, just take a seat over there ..."

    Morto! :o

Never will I ever use any bloatware program, even if it means my life.

TA that these fools took a baby dolphin out of the sea, passed it round for selfies and then the poor thing died.

That fills me with rage and sadness, it's definitely more serious than a trivial annoyance. Bunch of vain, moronic idiots!!:mad::mad:

You know that's not an adequate response.

I don't want to derail the thread, but anyway she didn't show. Working late and said she would meet me there and ONW waited...and waited....and waited..... :(

She obviously read this thread and got spooked. Wait, its one of you isn't it?

Morto today and also TA trying to rehearse a "cool" response for when she apologises/asks how the night was etc, while also being too hungover to really care :(

Sometimes it's best they don't show. Keeps the crush magic going I guess...

I too have a work crush, and I know the feeling is mutual.
TA that she's not in today :(

Waiting ages in the bathroom to throw up and then just when the time is right some fúcker comes in and you have to suppress the heaving.

Or indeed you're on your knees, head in the toilet bowl and your stomach settles and you're left wondering if you should stay here face down in the ****ter or whether you should just get up and risk someone nipping into the bathroom before you! :)

Being vertical is a problem for me today, so when I finish, I have that moment where I think I'd be better staying on my knees :)

I woke up with a want for a latte and a croissant.

Dragged myself out of my pit and into the shop.

    No croissants.
