Moved to England for work late last year and one of the few things I miss is taytos, can only get the northern Irish ones here which in fairness are inferior.

My TA is that I was home this week and decided to bring a few packs back with me to save and enjoy, the flight didn't go well for some so now I've bags to eat or put away in the biscuit tin to stop the going soft :(

The Northern Irish ones are way better. My TA is that you can't get them in Dublin.

I know exactly what youre saying Persepoly but isnt there a subtle difference between a crush and someone deliberately going after someone elses partner?Ive seen both to happen and the crushes were more a fun thing as opposed to the deliberate "hunt" so to speak.

Ah of course. I'm sorry. I don't mean to be weird. Of course there's nothing wrong with a crush.

Ugh crushes! When I was about 16, I had a really big crush on someone. We were all in a friends house and someone got the bright idea to play a game of Jenga. Every time it was my go, my hand would just shake nervously trying to put the block on the tower while everyone watched in silence.

Part of me just wanted the blocks to fall so I would be out of the game but I also wanted to win so he wouldn't think I was a loser :)

TA at the creator of Jenga.

I dislike exactly 5 foods (liquoice, pomegranate, parsnip, chick peas and kale) and they keep adding it to things I like (family and shops/restaurants). I bought a normal looking pack of chewing gum- liquorice, mum makes dinner parsnip, aunt makes lunch parsnip and kale. I hate fad foods but at least chocolate and blueberrys taste nice - kale and chickpeas :(. It also doesn't make sense nutritionally to me just eat spinach or don't make me eat it :(

Nobody take this personally, because I'm sure we're all involved in it at one stage or another, but people having conversations in this thread trivially annoys me. You know the ones where each post involves a quote of a previous post, and so on and on. Or should I say, they annoy me when I'm not involved in them, coz I end up having to scroll back through what feels like a bazillion posts to find out what's going on. No offence :pac:

Fun fact: auto-correct recognises "bazillion" as a real word.

Finding yourself constantly confronted with liquorice, pomegranate, parsnip, chick peas and kale is extremely unusual!

I was falling asleep on the couch, so moved myself and my telly to the bed do I wouldn't wake up frozen and sore in a few hours. All the movement woke me up and now I'm not the slightest bit sleepy... :(

Was unloading the dishwasher today and went to pull the big frying pan out to put away. Accidently dislodged a plate and it shattered to pieces on the floor. Like an eejit, I didn't think- I went to pick up the bigger pieces by hand and chuck them in the bin before grabbing the scoop and brush to sweep up the smaller bits.
Whilst sweeping, I felt a twinge in the centre of my right palm. Looked down- bleeding like a stuck pig.
Lashed it under the cold tap, so. Twinge intensifys to a sharp sting. Cleaned it up with an antiseptic wipe (ouch!), slathered on the Savlon and slapped a plaster on it. The plaster made it awkward to manuvure so I removed it after about 20 minutes.
Currently, the air's been at it and whilst it's not too painful, it still twinges if I flex my hand too much. I have a half-inch gash akin to a deep papercut in the centre of my hand.
    Boo-urns.

Indeed. And what about Oscar Pistorias?

Oh, maybe that's a bad comparison...
