Ramsey had his best game for ages against Bournemouth. Sanchez should be close to his best after 3 games back and Ozil is looking as good as ever. I'd be pretty nervous if I was a Leicester defender this weekend!

Likewise our defenders have plenty to worry about too. High scoring game on the cards ?

    (prob a 0 - 0 draw now)

In fairness don't think either would complain too much about a draw.

A draw is crap result for Arsenal. We must win.

we've had too many draws for the last 5 games, has to be a win this time

We must win convincingly, not just for purposes of the table, but also to hopefully instill some disbelief and nerves into Leicester! This is huge.

That said, if Leicester do win, they will deserve the title, and if we aren't to win it, I'd like them to do it! Amazing story!

I suppose Arsenal have drawn a good few lately. To be honest I was just sort of looking at that from the perspective of, Leicester are 5 clear and a draw will keep them at least 3 clear after what would on paper be the most difficult of their next 10 or so game so they'd obviously be happy with a draw.

And given how Arsenal have been faltering I would have though that a draw against the best team in the league would (on the evidence of the last 12 months) would keep them a nice distance in front of United in 5th and a point closer towards securing that top 4 spot.

interesting article by the ever reliable Barney Ronay (about Leicester not the Gunners)

    http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/feb/11/leicester-city-no-fairytale-claudio-ranieri

must admit that article has me more nervous than ever. It's a must win and it's going to be tough - a scrappy 1 - 0 win with an own goal off Huth's huge backside would do me.

Screw that. We want to win the league this year.

Not happening. Nowhere near consistent enough. Even allowing for a win against Leicester ye subsequently won't be able to win games consistently enough to win the league. The usual top 4 spot for Arsenal I'm afraid.

Time will tell won't it? I'd be astounded if I was proven wrong though.

Wouldn't mind seeing Arsenal win it though. I've recently started supporting Leicester though so wouldn't want Arsenal to win at their expense obviously.

I agree that the whole Leicester thing it's a huge story and its pretty amazing how well they have done, but i cannot agree with people here who say if we don't win the league they are happy for Leicester to win it, imagine the effect it will have on our team, it was there for the taking and we let Leicester take it, a team who were fighting relegation last year. If we don't win this year, i think Arsenal could implode, players leave, fans angry with Wenger again, teams around us will be much stronger. I'd honestly rather City win the title if we can't win it, at least they are in the same caliber as us, like people will stick up for leicester, and they are doing amazing, but there not the best team in England by an stretch of the imagination, they are performing much better than most, but they are not a greater team overall

Guess it makes sport more enjoyable switching to support whoever's on top of the league.

If you're saying Arsenal are too inconsistent to win, and City are even more inconsistent than us, I guess you're saying it's down to Leicester or Tottenham?

If Leicester win the league then they will deserve it. You dont fluke your way through 38 games. Id love to see them do it (not at our expense obviously)

I'd love the top 4 to be
    Arsenal
    Leicester
    Spurs
    West ham

Ya I think it probably is. Spurs after a bad start have been superb. Well sure if I'm going to pick a random English club to support it would be fairly illogical to pick anyone bar who's top of the league. The fact they are an underdog success story just adds to the attraction.

Sure it's not as if any of us have any real connection to any of theose Premiership teams anyway so may aswell pick the best one.

Petty hatred aside - it would be some shake-up

Why don't you like Spurs. I think they play nice football and they'd freshen things up a bit if they broke into the top 4.

    Why don't you like Spurs.

Asking this question in an Arsenal thread :D

So what was the date you decided to support Leicester?

Different people have different reasons to support a team, I guess yours is as good as any :P

I will be searching for better odds. 6/1 is a bit short imo.

    Edit

    8/1 with Paddy Power.

Check the league odds and you'll see Arsenal are favourites. If you think there's no chance of us winning the league and are willing to back it up, you could lay Arsenal and make a fair bit of cash.

Or you could quit talking sh!te.

Leaving aside league positions, based purely on form and general play, you'd have to say Leicester are favourites on Sunday. Great for the league. I assume Mert will sit this one out for obvious reasons?
