Is that via the premium shipping or the free shipping method?

well now that they are nearly here , could someone point me to a guide as to the setup and various options / capabilities of the satellite one.

The only thing i have really messed about with is an apple tv 2 , running kodi

Thanks in advance, don't want to clog up the thread with too many questions :)

There's a guy who has uploaded his complete setup of PBnigma. It's a whopping 14.8GB so you would need a 16GB SD.
I intend to give it a go during the week when I get my hands on the Wetek + SD card.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to his page?

I've PM'ed one of the mods on here asking him if he might consider closing this threat altogether now, as that was the final group buy for now anyway, there isn't much point keeping it open in my opinion. If there is to me a new group buy at some stage, a new thread can be opened.

Besides, this is the bargain alerts forum and we now have a dedicated threat set up for this wetek so in fairness all questions related to the wetek should really be posted in that thread.

I dunno if the mod will actually close this or not, but if he does, then all those who were involved in this latest group buy or any of the others for that matter, ye all have a number and an email address for me if ye need to get in touch.

Have a look in this thread where a forum member has posted a compressed version which is now only 1.2gb in size and he gives the twitter handle of the original creator -

    http://forum.kodicommunity.com/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=458

Just so the mods are clear (as I was warned previously for giving advice on base kodi functionality!!) There should be no reason why the image can not be shared as it doesn't contain anything illegal just opensource software configured to a specific persons taste, if you choose to add certain items to enable access copyrighted material then that is up to you.

Picked my box this morning, thanks Aquos76.

By the way where should I check it comes with the 2XDVB-S2 tuner?

Getting a no topic for that link above. Would be very interested in trying it out, even though I've my pbnigma image pretty much perfect for me at the moment.

I think you download it and use DiskImager to put it on Sdcard, but I could be wrong (as I can't seem to get anything right with this box!).

I've not got my box yet to try it lads. Has anyone used that image yet?

Be interested in a brief review.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,766 ✭✭✭RossieMan

The 17gb image takes ages to download. Its an IMG file so not even sure how it works. Mine got to 9gb and shut off so didn't bother with it after.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 1,422 ✭✭✭Batesy

The one I downloaded was 14.8gb. I think you just load it onto the SD with Diskimager and away you go.

Someone has compressed it down to less than 2gb apparently. Not sure how.

Quick question... I am a complete noob at this. Could someone point me the right way towards the cheapest box that would allow me to use what most people want the box for....ye know what i mean. On an unrelated note, I love films and sport.....

If it came with a little adaptor then it's a saorview version, if it had none, then it's the satellite version. That's how I distinguish between them.

Check your Parcel Motel account and you should see it in transit..

They've stopped delivering at weekends to my local motel, but I can see it in the system..
    Should have it Monday.
