Is the Al Bundy trilogy continuing for the next two rounds or will the remain MWC stips come at later stages throughout the draft?

Feck it sure whilst I'm asking, any clues about said stips and others we have to look forward to? :D

Episode 2 & episode 3 of the Bundy trilogy will be the next 2 rounds. Episode 3 will be the stip with the biggest impact but I'm sure you can work your way around all remaining stips.

Most of the remaining stips will be ones we have seen before but thats not to say there wont be a few little twists along the way. So for example we will have rounds where you can pick wrestlers who debuted pre 1970 or Celebs who had involvement in PW at some stage in the past.

Because of the some of the planned stips you might end up with a slightly bigger than usual roster but you obviously don't have to have everyone on the card for your PPV and there is no harm in having a valet or Jobber for your TV shows.

more details to follow (as stips are announced)...

o and yeah I thought EC3 probably was just I wouldnt have seen most of it so even though he was on my last I don't think I'd do the guy justice if I had drafted him.

Ah now Apollo is gone as well.

    I hate this round.

Torn between a tag team and a singles pick when it's my turn. Really cannot decide between either. Kind of hoping someone makes the decision for me it's that tough!

I have a specific pick in mind and probably for the first time in the draft I'm thinking it will be taken before my turn. Such is life but there's still some huge names I guess people forgot!

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 18,726 Mod ✭✭✭✭DM_7

    Pick made and PM sent.

Maybe a nice run will get together with it being Rumble night.

Its getting difficult to make picks now, at the stage where some premium names are still available but if you miss out on picking them its difficult to switch in alternatives.

Bruiser Brody and Shane O'Mac just selected. Considering we are in Rd.7 the quality of the picks so far in this round has been brilliant. Brody, Shane, Apollo, DDP, American Alpha, EC III. If they alone were a roster that person would have a great chance. To get them in Rd.7 is great value and shows that everyone has had an even shot to get some quality name value for their rosters.

Thanks DM, my pick is up too and PM sent. Went with tag pick in the end, haven't a plan in mind for them but two great singles or tag guys IMO.

The stip is up as with the rumble tonight I wouldnt be surprised if we get a few more picks in so I didn't wanna leave it too late.

As I put in the small print I can guarantee you that the 3rd bundy stip will not be a restrictive one, but I guess this next round will be one for singles stars.

Love the bundy theme. Once theres no 4 touchdowns in a single game stip

Start of this round, I had a tag team and a woman I wanted. So the stips have made things very easy in that regard :P

Couldn't resist nabbing two more Luchadores for my roster :D LUCHA! LUCHA! LUCHA!

Lads, we said this earlier on, but can you please put the name of the wrestlers you are drafting too? Not everyone knows every wrestler and we've already had some picks made that were taken due to that. So, for the fairness of everyone, please do it?

20th this round, 19th in the next. Progress :P

I thought I had it bad at 17th one round then 19th the next. Necrominus seems to be always in the end of draws too.

I'm glad I don't have as long a wait between picks this time around. I guess I started off strong.

I noticed that too! The random draw sim must not like my username!

Does JP Liz know she is up?

I'm guessing the next round will reference the great Peggy Wanker in terms of stipulation :D

She isn't up yet. Cheese Wagstaff has some more time. I contacted him yesterday but there hasn't been anything back so I guess we'll have to just wait and see what happens now.

Yeah before you took over your fed actually got drawn no 1 in 2 out of 4 rounds

Hopefully Cheese is on in the next 3 hours or else we will have our first missed turn this year.

It actually hasn't affected my picks terribly tbh. Bar one round I was able to get my first choice so I can't actually complain too much.
Having said that now I bet you my first, second, third and fourth choice will go in next few picks!!!

Ahh yeah didn't think you were complaining and you have gotten poor draws since then (randomly of course) but to be perfectly honest it's pretty rare that the best rosters are the ones that got the best draw imo, I've mentioned a few times how I really liked some of the picks Walt has made for example and think he has a really good roster so far and yet until recently at least (haven't done up the averages in a round or two) he actually had one of the worst average draws.

Once you have a strong base (and with people like the Rock you surely do) it's the writing that makes a huge difference imo

Interesting looking at Liz's roster at the moment could have a Canada vs Britain situation going on with Bulldog & Son on opposing sides

Christian, Owen Hart & The Hart Dyansty (Davey Boy Jnr & Tyson Kidd) vs The British Bulldog, Nigel McGuinness, Wade Barrett & Drew Galloway

not to mention everyones current favorite wrestler Roman Reigns being on the roster too

I'd love to be able to book Reigns tbh, had ideas for him the past two years but never got him. unfortunately the only people I haven't 100% earmarked for storylines atm are Steve Blackman & Killer Kowalski and somehow I doubt youd wanna trade for them. tbh I'd be pretty sure you could find a good main event storyline for him still, esp if you get a big name in the pre 70s round or you could give him a celeb opponent.
