The Voice. Pure utter rubbish. What's the point of it? What have previous winners ever done? Westlife's stupid hair is ridiculous, he's fooling nobody with that comb over.

I haven't smoked in over a week now and it's puzzling me

It's not really related but your post reminds me, I accidentally cut almost all sugar out of my diet two months ago. I didn't do it deliberately but I just stopped buying chocolate. I had no cravings at all and then about two weeks after cutting it out it only occurred to me: 'wait when's the last time I've eaten/bought chocolate?' And like you it's puzzling, I tried having a biscuit last week but I found it too sweet. I think my tastebuds must be after coming back a bit. I'm also enjoying salty things way more than I usually would.

Being wide awake and wired.....even though I've work in morning and have to be up early :-/

Newsreaders saying things like "...today the President of the United States, Barack Obama, visited......".

If they just say "...today Barack Obama visited ...." would anyone anywhere think "who is this Barack Obama guy"?

I might try to read something to distract myself.

I'm starting a new job soon but I'm having an informal interview for another one tomorrow, and now I'm nervous about both of them and everything is worse at night.

Come and join us! It's probably because you'll need to adjust back into your routine again and you're probably wide awake thinking about the day ahead.

Usually all I ever do is sleep so it'd be no good for me but thank you :)

Medusa you'll be fine :) good luck! X

I worry about everything in advance so I know I'll be fine, but I can't help myself :P

I had a nap today as well so that's probably part of the problem.

    What's keeping you awake Tom?

Not looking forward to trying to get my routine back. I've been so lazy over Christmas.

You're right, I'm thinking too much. I wish my brain would switch off like the git who is snoring his head off next to me!

Yeah, I think the longer you're off the harder it is sometimes, it takes longer to adjust then.

I wish my brain would shut off too, and my OH is also fast asleep! Not snoring, well, at least I can't hear her from the living room tonight :P

I ate a rake of sweets earlier and am wired (I Never eat that stuff)....I know il feel pure crap tomorrow after them....it's just not worth it!

Goodnight Kat4W and TomWaterford, I'm going to try and sleep now, I hope ye can too! :)

One thing that really gets me…
Getting so nervous that I feel sick… which makes me more nervous… which makes me feel even more sick.
And it's usually over something so irrelevant that I get angry at myself for being so nervous in the first place.

…I can't be the only one, right? ಠ_ಠ

    Lies! It's always worth it.

    This is so trivial.

A really close friend has taken to posting 'stunner' pics of herself on FB and checking in everywhere and showing off her drinking lifestyle.

It makes me cringe but it's none of my business, but cringe.

Guess it was the night of no sleep then :(, didn't sleep at all, (probably that nap yesterday) sigh I know I'm gonna crash later but my brain just wouldn't turn off. So much for getting back into a routine :(.

Decided I might as well get up (so I won't accidentally wake up the OH) so I made today's lunch (as I knew I'd be too tired later and end up eating crap), so at least eating healthily isn't a bust today

Just to give ya some words of encouragement, the weighing scales isn't the be all. Sometimes you retain water, other times you don't.

Keep on track and positive and it will happen. How you feel in your clothes is a much better thing to focus on :):):)

Oh - and to keep this post on point, when you have dry lips and you can't fricking leave them alone :(

TA there is something wrong with Boards and every so often when I type out a post and hit "submit reply" it tells me I haven't entered enough characters. Not typing it all out again. :(

Tried taking the dogs for a walk yesterday and the amount of idiots who see snow on high ground and think, oh I know I'll drive up the mountains really fast and have absolutely no regard for people who might be living there and going about their lives. Beeping as they fly around narrow roads as if to tell you to get out of their way. What's worse is they go up to see the snow/view whatever and don't actually get out of the fúcking cars so they can't actually be seeing that much  Then there's the dumping rubbish out their windows too. And I once thought my God-bothering neighbour was a freak when she referred to them as the Sunday whores :P One did get stuck though. Oh well, you wanted to see the mountain, you'll be seeing a lot of it now :pac::pac:
