It won't kill anyone, unless you're a really terrible cook. If in doubt, just stick it in the microwave with some parchment paper on top or in a covered ceramic/pyrex dish/ casserole and heat it up again, making sure it boils/bubbles for a couple of minutes at least. Or you can do the same in the regular oven, but put a container with some water on the base of the oven or it may dry up too much.

*Disclaimer - do not use metal or non heat resistant plastic in a microwave. Do not use plastic in a regular oven. :p;)

(Would you look at that, I'm better than google, who knew I had it in me...)

I just thought of something else you might want to take into account... did any pets have overnight access to said potato concoction? In that case, it might be safer just to serve it to a mother in law type of figure, and only if she isn't nice. :pac:

I can't get anything done because there is a kitten snuggling into my arm and every time I move, she snuggles in closer.

(I'm not really TA'd because it's the cutest thing ever. I do have a lot to do though...)

    Would you consider transforming her into a pocket-kitten or a hood-kitten? :3

I've tried, but these things have to be on her terms. I swear she hates me ever other time but when she wants to snuggle, there is no escaping her!

I was prescribed some nausea medication this week for a particularly bad stomach flu. Initial trivial annoyance was the flu progressing to the point where I had to go to the doctor.
Major trivial annoyance: The most common side affects are Drowsiness and Restlessness.
I am so tired but cannot sit still or stop thinking long enough to sleep.

If you like the taste and you can keep it down, you could try with some candied ginger or some ginger ale or ginger tea - i.e. food, unless you're allergic or you're taking other medications it could interact with. Ask the doctor if it's ok, if the side effects from the medication are so bad he should probably suggest an alternative.

I was told yesterday that I could start putting partial weight on my left leg 9 weeks after an injury. I Had been relatively pain free, but after a days partial weight bearing I'm back on the strong painkillers.

I know it's good progress but I'm TA'd because I was enjoying being off everything bar paracetamol.

When I ask for a little bit of mayo in my wrap/roll and I get a heap of it.

I like my cholesterol just how it is thanks very much!

Food on wooden platters, yes it looks great and works for some things but not for a big pile of chips and two very big pieces of battered fish, no room to do anything with it!

They're very unhygienic, the boards tend to split when put through a high temperature wash and I'd imagine that bacteria would form in the cracks.

Either the Augmentin or the Deltacortril I'm on for this chest infection are causing me to be extremely tired.
I just woke up from a half an hour's nap that I didn't intend on having and I feel on disconbobulated and my mouth's all dry.

I feel your pain, FO. The last time I was on Augmentin it completely fecked my brain, I'd start a sentence and stop after a few words 'cause I didn't know what I wanted to say. Two weeks of spirulina helped immensely. Make sure you take lots of probiotic too -the actual capsules/tablets- 'cause the antibiotics kill off your good gut bacteria too, and live yogurt wouldn't be strong enough to restore that.

Hope you feel better soon. :)

    Thanks for that x :)

Booking a short break for Easter weekend, earlier this week it was E315 flights and hotel, went to book it today it had shot up,
So it was cheaper to book flights and hotel separately, looked and different sites for hotels and swop between the Fri and Sat,
Booked and paid for the flights, booked and paid for the hotel all good E50 cheaper than the combined, then realised I reopened the wrong bloody window with the earlier date for the hotel,
They charge E40 to change the dates from the Friday to Saturday, So much for my travel agent skills...:(

A few weeks ago, I held a tarantula and let it crawl from hand to hand. Today I run shrieking from a spider in the house. I can only put it down to seeing tarantulas as a cuddly toy version of spiders.

People who let their phones ring and ignore it.

I'm not talking about when I'm calling someone. I'm talking about people near you whose phones are ringing but they just ignore it and let it ring. If you don't want to answer a call then reject it. If you don't want to reject it then you can silence the ring temporarily. Don't just sit there staring at it!

A girl on the bus this week stared at her phone as it rang for over a minute. Do something about it, woman!

Trying to risk putting a load of items one sturdy plastic bag thinking you'll be OK, only for the pointy edges of the item boxes to start tearing holes and ultimately rip the bag apart as you're walking in the rain.

Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! Applying for jobs. I'm so sick of all this bull****. How are young people meant to start out when they don't have 1, 2 or 3 years experience?. Is it really that difficult/time consuming/costly/etc. to train someone in? I'm currently searching the lowest of the low (gumtree).

This is how I feel about finding a job:

Going away during the week and had to endure the dreaded packing just now.

I love going away but I hate hate hate getting everything ready and packed. Then a horror day of travelling with shag all sleep.

I wish Seth Brundle perfected that teleporter, instead of messing up and having his DNA spliced with that of a fly and meeting a grizzly end.

I was at the cinema earlier and there was a man and two children sitting in front of us. The dad wouldn't look away from him phone and the poor children were trying to get his attention to open their sweets. He just kept saying "in a minute in a minute". Rude git.

TA'd at how Sandra Bullock has managed to steal a career as a leading Hollywood actress, despite being nothing more than a mediocre actress (at best) with an annoying voice.

Oh this reminds me, a man and his daughter were outside the fitting rooms in a shop, presumably waiting for wife to come out. The daughter was chatting away to him about a necklace she'd found, it was a best friends one so there were two in the pack. She was so happy about it and he was just stuck to his phone mumbling "yeah" at her every now and then :(
Hopefully he was just tired or something

    Same thing with Julia Roberts.

    Bland, boring, mediocre.

Ditto (if she's not even worse than these two) for Cameron Diaz.

Just happened to me tonight...turned up a one way laneway in the town in which there was a car pulled up outside the pub waiting to collect someone.

Beeped and flashed the headlights as there was cars on the Main Street looking to drive up the laneway and as it was blocked the traffic was backing up in the town. And I was in a hurry.

Knòb puts their hazard lights on as if thinking that would resolve the problem.
    Trivial but extremely annoying

Ah yes, the magical hazard lights that mean a driver can do anything they like... I don't think that's a TA, I think that's a legitimate precursor to a perfectly understandable road rage incident.

I've become a night owl. Every January without fail my routine flips after Christmas and I find myself up until 9/10am and waking at 3/4pm. It's a hangover from my college days when I'd have all of January off to hibernate. Now I'm self-employed and can afford to have erratic hours but it's still very TA,

My legs have been itching me for weeks now. It's happened to me one winter before where it wouldn't stop and it just annoyed the hell out of me, not it's happening again. Can't sleep properly because of it.
