Sturridge would probably never walk again if he signed for us ;)

Little or no chance of him starting Liverpool? Sanchez won't be playing either. At least we have the same excuses as Liverpool :)

cant see wenger throwing him straight into the mix , we sure have a hell of a lot more powerful midfield than liverpool at the minute :D so should be grand

all thats worrying me ATM is coquelin , guy has been invaluable and immense before injury this season . with the signing of elneny it will only push him harder for his starting position :)

I think we're coping incredibly well without Coquelin compared to how myself and most others on this forum thought we would have, it's encouraging

Liverpool did so well against us earlier on that I'm afraid Flamini or Arteta in midfield would not be enough :o They have a bang average midfield, but Klopp can get the best out of his players sometimes!

The implications for Spain are too big for any doping truth to come out I think.

were coping as it is , but think when he comes back !! :) the man reassures us in midfield and takes pressure off our center backs , very very under-rated player IMO ( non arsenal fans )

well with coutinho injured its less to worry about , only problem players i can think of is benteke ( kos should keep him quite) .

    We should sign Sturridge

    for 20million and 1 pence?

Looks like this Elneny thing might drag a bit. Wenger reckons it should be done this week, but I don't like when he talks about 'problems'.

Pretty disappointed with lack of activity, we are almost halfway through the transfer window.

On a totally different topic, I was listening to off the ball on Thursday night and they were talking about Klopp and injuries and also about Pep to an extent. Can't remember the name of the person they were interviewing but he claimed that before Pep went to Bayern Munich they had by far the best injury record of all champions league teams in the last 10 years but this rapidly declined and they have had injury crisis after injury crisis while he has been there.

I wonder what affect he would have on Arsenal?

So now it seems that Sanchez has a chance to play on Sunday.
Am getting a bit worried how this is getting pushed back and back every week.

On the plus side Mozart has resumed full training. He could be a very useful squad member if fit for the last 3 months of the season.

I don't like when we're told a player is available next Sat and then it's a week and then it's two more weeks. Just seems to get stretched out again and again. I'd prefer the truth i.e. the player is unlikely to be ready for a month. Then i might get a pleasant surprise when he's back in 3 weeks.

I know it's not an exact science to anticipate when someone will be recovered and fit but with us it's always a matter of it being stretched out longer.

Despite how devalued the cup has become these days, to win it 3 times in a row would be pretty special.

Avoid Manchester City and I don't really mind who we draw. I'd rather not play an away tie in a cow field either. Sheffield Wednesday away could be a good one, they have a nice new surface and beat us well in the CC.

Just read there than Wenger has never lost an FA Cup 3rd round tie.
Thats a pretty impressive record !

I wouldn't be afraid of city at all to be honest

Why help your opponent prepare for playing you, let them waste time of game plans for an Arsenal with or without Sanchez. That's the real reason and it's the right one

Oxford at home please. The more chances we get to rotate, the better.

    United v City
    Liverpool v Everton
    Spurs v Chelsea

    would be ideal. :pac:

Reverse psychology would do exactly the same.

Would like to see Campbell start against Liverpool on Wednesday if Sanchez won't be fit. Joels work rate is really gonna be needed and he's been in very good form the past couple of months.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,608 ✭✭✭✭cson

Campbell will almost certainly start on Wednesday.

Will it not be Exeter v Everton and Leicester v Chelsea :D

Maybe once or twice but it's done all season it surprises us as well as other managers when a player is back
