Awful long way back now. That should probably be that. There was no intent to Ulster in that attack.

A big job to turn this around, even with the bench coming on its difficult to see how they can pull it back

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 394 ✭✭damemcd

    Quinn will be shattered..

Woeful from Ulster. Arrogant team selection methinks. 23-0 HT.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Sending the seconds to a game of this importance is stupid beyond belief

  • Administrators Posts: 54,256 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Diack, Humprheys, Marshall, Lutton and Wilson all need shipped out.

    Disgraceful showing.

I'm incandescent with rage. We go to fecking Toulouse and win and then serve this crap up. How did Kiss ever think this team could win here. I said it durng the week you take Pienaar and Jackson out of the team and we are hopeless. Why is that not obvious? We can't beat fecking Zebre with this team, how could we expect to win in Europe with it?

Serious serious questions of Kiss here...his selection anyway...

Williams, Pienaar and Jackson have to come on and Diack needs to just disappear at half time and replaced by Herring, yes a hooker...

Even then it won't matter. This is the most complacent, gutless performance I have ever seen from an Ulster team in such an important game.

Why on earth did Ulster send this team to a European game?

What? Ulster rested players for this match? (sorry just switched on). That is beyond unbelievable.

Complascent, that's the word. Ulster can still win this, but they should have been gunning to a TBP here today.

This pack is the softest I've seen in a good while from Ulster. Couple with a brain dead decision from Marshall to go to his name sake on the crash without any support, and then to under throw the pass/overrun the line, you have a calamity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Surely Piennar and Jackson have to ocme on immmediately.

You think we can win this? Ah bless. :pac:

Ulster have realised they were beaten by Munster and are acting accordingly.

Tyrone Howe is tearing into individual player performances and the team selection on Sky Sports.

Tyrone Howe and Alan Quinlan will both need counselling after this weekend.

    Brilliant from Scholes

Not able to watch the game but it sounds as though all the damage is been done up front. How much can the 3 changes do to rectify that.

edit: obviously quite a bit so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

One try back already. This is more like it.

    Lovely finish by Scholes

    Question.

Who was the Ulster guy on the sideline they showed just after the Scholes try ? Guy with a beard. He looks really familiar, did he used to play for Ulster ?

    Oyonnax starting to creak

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Much more urgency about Ulster now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

    What a difference

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

The difference 3 men make. Ulster when they get injuries back have a brilliant team but the depth bar the outside backs is abysmal to say the least

Why's Russell Crowe on the Ulster management team?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

Ulster scrum putting the squeeze on now, very different from the first half

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Winning the scrum battle in the second half now too. Need a score now fairly quickly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,076 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

That was criminal to lose that lineout.
