You need to put it through the dishwasher first to give it a test driven feel.

My mother doing the poor mouth again. Swear to God you'd think she is the only person in Ireland on the state pension. Not to mention that her kids help her out anyway. Complaining about the property tax and how it "had to be paid today" - "Really?", I asked because I hadn't heard her talking about it before. "Oh well we put it against the house", she replied. On and on about how its not easy to live on a pension. Newsflash mother dearest it's not easy to live on the average industrial wage when you have to supplement someone on the state pension!

I couldn't sleep and my tummy has been churning all day. Very annoying but what's worse is that my bf thinks I'm pretending because I'm back to work on Monday. Hmph what a git.

We are supposed to come in the TA thread to wallow in our annoyances and share each other's frustrations.....
I do not expect to read a day or 2's updates and smirk and laugh at dildo talk and barely concealed flirting..... Get your acts together!

Also.... lol... I said "dildo"... It's even a funny word.

I returned books to the library earlier and they were overdue. There's a new one working there and she said the fine was 0.60. I asked her could I pay the next time I was in. I had the cash and I can afford it but I've been going the same library for the last 15 or so years. The two other librarians that have been there since I was a kid have never asked me to pay a fine when books are late. I know I'm supposed to pay a fine but I know for a fact that the next time I go in if I go to one of the other librarians that they won't say anything about the fine. I've always thought that I might like to work in a library and then I think of those two librarians in my local library who've been stuck in the same dead end town for 15 plus years.

Afaik there was 2-3 endings recorded and they went that ending as seemingly they taught it most unlikely to be leaked as it was lame

No they said in an interview they'd filmed that one years ago (and even though it undues all character development) they went with it, their alternate ending is just that scene before the den and the train goes past thats it. A number of other alternate endings were just fakes. If its on I just swap channels after the train part. Its hardly a realistic show but that was the tipping point for me.

TA thought I'd do a big shop and get everything - forgot milk for the morning

People saying "I'm over xyz" meaning "I'm annoyed by xyz"

It's a fairly new addition to the idiot's book of idioms and frankly, it needs to go.

It used to mean that "I was annoyed by xyz but I've gotten over it now" but it has now morphed into something else.

You could say, I'm over it.
