Just broke another screen. And this one had a screen protector. Feckin things are not fit for purpose IMO.

How? If you dropped it that's what's to be expected with any smartphone.

Its purpose isn't to be bounced off the ground. I never broke any of my phone's screens including the OPO and OP2.

What screen protector did you have on it?

No way has that phone got gorilla glass 4.

It should at least have some bit of impact/stress absorption or something before it breaks . Any other handheld device should take into account that the owner could drop the device and be constructed accordingly.

With respect deadanonymau5, I didn't 'bounce it off the ground' It fell out of my pocket onto a loose gravel driveway. Maybe 30 inches. I was using the :
Orzly® - Glass Screen Protector for OnePlus 2

    and the

Orzly® FUSION Bumper Case Cover Shell for Oneplus 2

The screen protector cracked only slightly but the screen got fecked.

I owned a couple of Samsungs before and their screens are the nuts.

It's a smartphone, don't drop it 30 inches. I have had plenty of smartphones and have never dropped them

It happens when you least expect it

If you look at their video for gorilla glass 4, they tested the phone for different heights to count for these scenarios.

Anyone get static/white noise/interference when using earphones? Its very noticeable at a low volume.

It's really irritating. Yet another issue/let down from this phone. Getting rid of this phone as soon as I can get a decent price. I wish I never got rid of my OPO :(

Haven't used earphones on it, but I do connect it to my car with an analogue cable and I haven't noticed any problems.

Got mine yesterday. So far so good except for one issue. Bluetooth audio while in the car. With my old HTC one my car stereo showed me full track info when playing Google Music and the steering wheel controls worked for next track etc. Now though with the OP2, nothing. No track info and no buttons work to control the playback. That is very annoying. Haven't tried it with spotify yet (will later) as I don't use that. Anyone else have this issue and solve it? EEK...Google tells me that it is a known issue with the OP2....crap. Now why didn't I spot that when researching the phone before buying it...damn it.

    Thanks.

EDIT - hmmm...not a solution to the actual issue but must try this on the way home later as it may help with the control issue at least: Google Now voice commands

any update on this? just ordered a OP2 and this will be important to me

Anyone else experiencing home button unresponsiveness or lag? Its driving me crazy, often doesn't work until a second go, there are threads in the oneplus forum but the fixes don't work.

I think it's definitely software as I flashed an exodus rom and it was perfect and lightning fast. Went back to stock anyway because of camera issues but that's beside the point.

Well lads I'm thinking about getting this. Currently I have the OPO and have no issues with it. Is this the best value for its price range? btw ill be buying in North America. Thanks.

What's the build quality of this phone like? I want it... but seeing lots of complaints about the home button/fingerprint scanner crapping out. Another review after 2 months showed the entire phone with lag.

If only the Nexus 6p was a little cheaper.

There are 3 versions of this phone
One for China .it will work here but 4g may not work everywhere.
One for US.4g won't work here.
One for Europe /india.this is the one you want to be sure it will work

If you buy from oneplus site they will send correct one

    Having used the OP2 for 2 months now I think - OPO > OP2

The camera "processing" is very annoying.

    Hey people,

Looking at getting a oneplus two at the moment and about to pull the trigger but before I do I thought I'd query with those who already have it (especially those with a oneplus one also).

I don't care for the finger print scanner and the C USB port isnt really taking my fancy either.

Just wondering whether I should save my money and get a oneplus one or spend a little extra for a oneplus two

I had both. Theres not much difference between them. The camera isn't noticeably better to me anyway. The USB C isn't really USB-C anyway, it doesn't charge the phone faster or have faster transfer speeds for data. The scanner is ****e imo. OPO is a lot more customizable out of the box anyway. Whether you should get the OPO or OP2 depends on what you're looking for.

That's what I'm thinking too, the new features aren't quite features I'm getting at all excited about and I know that the OPO would suit perfectly, Updates I suppose would be the only concern in terms of the OPO for me anyway.

In terms of feel, is there much difference?, is the OP2 more "premium" feeling I suppose, that could be what will sway it for me considering the aluminium body etc

I actually think the OPO feels better in hand. It feels noticeably slimmer and lighter. I went back to using it after a while to wipe it before selling and preferred it. The metal around the OP2 gives it a "premium" feel.

Nope...no update. Latest software update leaves the same issue. Very annoying. From reading the OP2 forums it appears that the OP2 uses some new bluetooth 1.5 stack (the latest and greatest). But most devices out there don't fully support this yet. Cars especially as they are very slow to update their software. VWs (and associated brands) i appear to be the worst offenders (of course I have a VW).
Usual solution from providers is to go back to 1.4 until support for 1.5 is more widespread but OP2 dont even seem to acknowledge that there is an issue.
