Spot on!! They put up all sorts of cars for breaking then when you ring, they haven't a clue. Put up a 'full' focus st for breaking but have sweet fa of it left.

Long story short, bought a set of alloys for the mondeo off them last year. They said they were in immaculate condition, with all 4 tyres having 80% thread.

They arrived with all 4 tyres punctured, 3 of which were on the sidewall, and they were all down at the thread bar. The alloys were filthy, covered in brake dust and dirt, they had too many kerb marks (if I seen them prior, I probably wouldn't have gotten them). They came delivered in what smelt like to me, used sileage wrap. And the mean cnuts didn't even give me a set of nuts! Was so tempted to send them back.

Compare that to when I got a set for the focus of someone else the year before. Each wheel was individually wrapped in cardboard and tape, they were clean, detarred and of excellent quality. Lock nuts and normal nuts were included.

Was looking on donedeal last week, and they still have the alloys I bought for the mondeo last March, up for sale...... add only put up last week.

If you're going to change wheels, I think what's on it atm are fine but, these mondeo ones (16") are all I would fit, unless you splash out the extra for the cosworths.

Oh I forgot you already got bored with the original wheels. The only downside to bigger wheels is not being as quick getting up to speed, pot holes or uneven roads will be a pox and fuel consumption may go up but ho hum if they look good .

For €30 I'd buy them just to have them, can't go wrong for that money!

Anyone around Enniscorthy/Wexford to have a look at them? A fair drive down for me. I could pick them up later. Would appreciate that.

Many of the A6's I see are cars in from the UK and the same goes for the BMW's. Mercedes still seems to have the prestige with the E Class even though they're not as common on the roads.

I personally feel the quality of the F10 isn't the same as the E60 also. Interior design is good, but things like the paintwork finish isn't as good, the "leather" interiors wear very badly etc.

Actually if you look at the BMW website even them themselves say the it is "Leatherette" so it's not surprising it's bad. I think it has been a long time since any leather in a BMW came from a cow.

I had the chance to drive an F30 3 series a couple of months back and thought the leather in it felt crap quality compared to the Momo seats in the 166. I was surprised to find out that it wasn't leather at all!!!!! Even Kia offer genuine leather. Very bad form from a supposedly "premium" brand.
