No harm to have, I remember when a friend done the head on one he was longer trying to bleed it than putting it back together!

Some say you need to bleed them while half full and then top up slowly as filling it too early leads to massive air pockets!

Mine didn't take long at all, maybe half an hour, we pretty much emptied the system though. If I decide the tackle the CCV myself I'll do the Thermostat as well, hopefully the CCV is the cause of my rough idle and oil leak.

They'll look well on the Yaris! If you could, get Toyota center caps for them, would make them look much better IMO.

Maybe you're the sensible one amongst us! God you had a lot of cars :O

Hahah, don't know if I'm the most sensible but I would obviously like something more interesting/powerful. Just can't afford to right now.

That's a lot of cars. I spent far too much time studying those numbers:o

Diesel didn't agree with you I see.

    Hahah. :)

Not a lot of cars, imo. Also, it wasn't the greatest experience with that diesel E36, but diesels have evolved since then.

You had a 350Z from way way in the future so :D
    And a really old Civic!

The Civic felt like it was from the future at the time, and the 350z was more old school :)

Didn't know you had a Z, got any pics? Are you thinking of selling the golf?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 392 ✭✭NickDunne

Anyone fancy valuing this for me? Runs(130k), stops and steers perfect. Body excellent but needs a bit of welding underneath. Pics make it look pink for some reason. Nothing really on DD to compare it to. In about 6 minds about what to do with it :(

I think I only have one poor picture of the Nissan. It was the same as this though.

Do you want to buy it!? I only have it a few months so I'll keep it a few more yet!

If no tax or NCT, probably around €350

Looks pretty sweet! I always like those Z's

Haha Id love to buy it but unless you want to do me an absolute bargain I think not :P
I thought I read a thread on the buying forum where you were looking for something bigger? Or are keeping the Golf and buying something else?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,845 ✭✭✭Noccy_Mondy

Breakdown of the road casulties for 2015. Still shocks me that nearly 1 in 3 killed wasn't wearing a seatbelt, madness!

Aw right, yeah. That's would be the wife's car. Not sure whether to get something like a people carrier or squeeze one of these in the back.

She has a decent sized car that she really likes, but three car seats will not fit.

Ya, hopefully.. The seller said if I wanted he could try and make a center cap for it, but that's more hassle than it's worth for him.

Cheers dude, ya happy enough with them.. Exactly what I was thinking..

Better than that, 29% definitely not wearing a seatbelt. Another 29% suspected of not wearing one. That becomes more than half. Belt up, I say.
