Well lads, I've been away for a few weeks on holidays, so I wasn't really following the action in here.

I wish you all a happy, healthy and successful year, with more and more important trophies for our team!!!

He was never going to get his game. I mean clearly there was no possibility of last year's injury crisis repeating itself, you know the one where Wilshire, Ramsey, Welbeck, Walcott, Rosicky, Ox etc were all unavailable for the wide positions. I mean he was never even getting on our bench this time around.

Wasn't he injured during that period as well? Or he may not have been up to speed at that time. Sure back in 2012 he was playing so he surely would have been given a chance a few years later if it was there for him.

He was injured pretty much all last season as far as I know

    Are we on tv tomorrow?

    Nope.
Which is a joke considering the games they are showing.

They're showing United...another snoozefest more than likely.

Yep, Swansea who haven't conceded in three games vs United who aren't the best at scortng the oul goals. Us vs Newcastle is usually a good watch.

    Yup it's a joke.
We always have good games vs Newcastle. Add in we're top of the league and Newcastle are fighting to stay up our match should have been the obvious choice.

I dunno, Swansea V Man United has been a pretty enjoyable fixture to watch over the last few seasons!

Want a decent performace against Newcastle today. A good start could make this a fun day for us.

But I'll take one nil, for definite.

Newcastle weren't half bad against Everton...or WBA and deserved more but I feel if we get one before the 30 min mark we could give them an an awful time of it.

Walcott and Giroud love this fixture and with Ozil in the form he is in.....could be a good day.

Indeed. Theo also needs a big one. He's been stale since his return and has spurned many chances.

I'd say Gabriel could play DM too. Looks the sort. Should try him there in the cups just for the craic. Very mobile and a good tackler.

Don't worry lads, Colback/Tiote as holding midfielders will invite tons of pressure and we'll create nothing going forward.

    Enjoy an easy 3 points.

    Blah.
