    He'll get the permit.
The old rule used to be that the player needed to play in 75% of their national team's competitive fixtures in the past 2 years. Elneny has played in 100% of them.
Given the amount of caps + games in the CL/EL he should get one pretty easily.

Sure Bertrand Traore for Chelsea played less international games for a lower ranked country and was given work permit under new rules.

    I hope you're right

I'm sure Wenger would have factored all that in before making his move.

You'd think so. May take a little longer to process though

You'd swear Liverpool won the league the way they were celebrating at full time! Sunderland 0 Liverpool 1

We better beat Sunderland in the cup.

    That's all I'm saying.

I'd be surprised if we don't - an FA Cup run is the last thing Big Sam will want.

They're perfectly entitled to celebrate an important three points in the race for Europa.
Their rivals, stoke and palace, have been playing well of late and I'm sure a win away at tricky Sunderland boosts their chances of achieving their goals this season.

It feels nice when football is going your way. Like if you're having a ****ty day and you realize "Huh.. We're top of the league!" it kinda gives me a little euphoric kick.

And no.. I've not been drinking :pac:

It sure feels good at the moment.
And yes... I've been drinking and I ain't stopping for fear ill sober up and it will all be a drunken dream.

And is maybe the reason why Hayden is being recalled from Hull.

fingers crossed Sanchez makes it back soon as expected...just watched the highlights of the Man U game - he's a beast of a player!

anyone know latest on Welbeck? he's due back soon too right?

Klopp dismissing their title chances this morning after their big win ;-)

I see carragher also saying if we don't win the league this season then it'll be another 10 years before we do. Seriously, what is it with some of these ex pool players.

He's being recalled because he isn't getting enough game time according to Steve Bruce, he'll probably be loaned to another championship club.

I don't see where the issue is with him saying that.I'd respect carraghers opinion when it comes to not winning leagues he's very experienced at that.
A quick check on wikipedia says he played seventeen seasons without winning a league so when that Man says you're not winning a league he's got nearly two decades backing that up. Can't argue with that.

Such a ridiculous thing to say. Who at the start of this season could have predicted Leicester at the top or Chelsea near the bottom. How can he predict the next 10 seasons with such unpredictability? Especially with a club so well funded and with so much going for it. Plonker!

Speaking about loaned players not getting much game time, why on earth is Gnabry still at West Brom? I think he's only played 30 minutes football in total there. He'd have more at Arsenal, and had more a couple of seasons back where he would have been less experienced.

I expect gnabry to be recalled. That loan has been very poor for him, he's a player full of potential. If pulls won't play him he should be loaned to somewhere else of course. I'll be disappointed if he's left there for the rest of the season with no gametime.

I cannot understand why he was loaned out at all.
Would have learned more with our squad surely.

He was never going to get his game. I mean clearly there was no possibility of last year's injury crisis repeating itself, you know the one where Wilshire, Ramsey, Welbeck, Walcott, Rosicky, Ox etc were all unavailable for the wide positions. I mean he was never even getting on our bench this time around.
