5L of Dulux paint in Magnolia for €5 upstairs in Tesco in Sligo this evening. Not marked with a yellow price tag, there were at least 2 tins left at 9 this evening

Thanks. Picked up the last 3 in clarehall. Only problem is now I'm expected to use them!

It is in the aisle that has light bulbs etc. Near the tills :)
I think the aisle starts off with disposable party plates/napkins.

This time last year I got some serious bargains in tesco, 40 inch LG tv €200 among other things, spoke with a guy working in tesco yesterday (mahon point) and he told me special offers only this year. Display stock will not be put on sale. He told me tesco making major changes this year and may not even being stocking electrical items soon.

    Add your reply here.

In balbriggan, 2.30 today plenty of sunlight on snow reduced (at least 8 left), simply cinnamon was not reduced, no candy cane.

I bought none as I didn't like the smell of the sunlight on snow one. I would have bought the cinnamon one if it was reduced

Don't believe everything you hear, a guy working in a store will have no idea what is going on beyond the next few days, Deffo won't have any idea about long term departmental strategy...back on to bargains...all Xmas cards are 75% off...good if you want to stock up next year. Also real fx racing was over 100 prior to Xmas now 33 in clarehall.

According to HUKD there's 15% off all gift cards until January 10th. Does anyone know if this is in operation here? Actually my brother works in Tesco and, comically, nobody in the entire store knew. The only way to find out is to put one through the till and activate it at which point there's no going back.

They've been that price for quite some time in the New Ross branch at least. I picked one up when they were €1 then picked another up for the €2.10 a month or so ago.

    Savage price :)

First time I got one they were near games/dvd section on a special offer price. Second time I got it, it was halfway down the store, where they have some tools, extension leads etc.

In Maynooth they're on the aisle with all the car stuff. However this is at least their third location. I passed on them- as regardless of the price- I can't see myself having a use for them.......

get one or 2 sets for the car - useful if you had to change a tyre in the dark. if you have a car that is. lots of other uses for them - at this price, they are a steal. look on the bright side, you're still getting a tesco bargain.

doubtful they could justify the cost of letters to that many sw receipents. some ce scheme paymen ts were only made on the usual days i.e if ce payment was a thursday, then it only went into bank/cu on the thursday so not much use to people who couldn't access credit union on christmas eve/new years eve etc. it's difficult when christmas is at end of a week i think.
