people who insist on cycling on the road... even though the government just spent 10's of millions of euro putting in extra wide cycle lanes to try and protect your dumb ass from being run over on your left hand side...

I find people who don't know current road traffic legislation to be far more wankerish

People who use the term victim blaming to remove any personal responsibly.

Left your bike unlocked and it's gets robbed. I feel sorry for you but you're still stupid.

Fuckwits who believe there is a correlation between social status & human worth.

Remove the silver spoon from your anus, there's no caste system in Ireland (officially)

I've thought thought about the correlation between Boards poster high post count = time available to post 50 times a day = unemployment = inability to afford a car = cyclist (motorist hater)
    :)

It's far less complex than that.

    Cyclist = Wanker

I'm sure in your own mind there's some connection to my post. However tenuous.

Could it be more like 'Get hit from behind by a 2 tonne car while not cycling in the cycle lane - I feel sorry for you but you're still stupid'?

    That's victim blaming.

I've never seen a car break a red. Ever. It's so rare that only a true wanker would do it. Never came across one to date.

Anyway getting on to more wankerish behaviour. Those who are incapable of following simple arrow symbols in a car park, making it neigh impossible for other people to park in an orderly fashion. Also those that park on yellow boxes that denote emergency access. **** of the of highest order. Liffey valley in Dublin was a veritable wanker fest earlier today.

Not at all. It implied that cycle lanes are not some magical barrier protecting cyclists from death, and that riding outside them is often necessary, and that doing so does not relieve drivers of responsibility.

Paddy will always try once he won't be punished, take my word on that.

Double yellow, disabled, family, set down only spots are all fair game for Paddy once he won't be ticketed.

Once Pat is parked as close as poss- fork everyone else.

Don't believe me, spend 30 mins in any busy Supermarket car park:D

Nope just the term victim blaming and it's use to dissolve someone of any personal responsibility
Could it be more like 'Get hit from behind by a 2 tonne car while not cycling in the cycle lane - I feel sorry for you but you're still stupid'?

    That's victim blaming.

    Did I say that?

because the cyclist in that story did nothing to put himself in danger.

    However

'Get hit from behind by a 2 tonne car while changing lanes without looking or indicating - I feel sorry for you but you're still stupid'?

    That's not victim blaming.

because the cyclist in this story did something that put him in danger.

    See the difference?

I broke a red light during my driving test. I was trying to show initiative.

These forking 50 something women who mow their way around Supermarkets with their glasses perched on the tip of their noses ,men too who stare at you like they want something, whilst looking out over the tops of the glasses.

    ..
Yeah, anyone who needs reading glasses. Also, those a**holes who wear glasses for distance while driving. They should navigate by smell.

    Pff...

Did we not have a few years ago some American on the Radio asking why our traffic lights have a loud noise. It was explained it helps blind people. The guy then remarked blind people are not allowed to drive in The USA.

Women who hold their partners heads under the blankets then fart, is really annoying.

I might need to clarify, I was mocking the other poster. I am likely even more irritating because I need reading glasses and don't yet have them. I look under my regular glasses to read labels.

Well I have on considerable number of occasion and it would seem to be getting more prevelant of late as far as I can see. Early on in weekday mornings is when I'd most likely see it. Can only assume its drivers running late for work (not that that excuses them of course).

being a cyclist and a motorist I try to take a balanced view and even so I do very much get the impression that proportinally cyclists are the biggest **** when it comes to flouting the rules of the road proportinally more than motorists. I would have seen also cases where some would tend to give the impression that they are automatically the wronged party and the victim just in account of the fact that they are the more vulnerable.

Are all cyclists **** who break the rules of the road? - Of course they are not. Are all motorists model citizens who rigioursly obey the rules of the road all the time - of course they're not either

Cyclist get VERY defensive when this stuff comes up. For any of us that use the roads there is simply no question that, proportionately, cyclist break the rules of the road most often. Then come taxi drivers.
