I'm pretty certain were getting one

It does seem likely in fairness

I want Leicester to win tomorrow - city dropping as many points as possible

I would keep chambers in the centre now see how he goes against better opposition

First 15 I was thinking nah, but he grew into the game well and he got his footwork sorted. Long way to go but I think he'll grow into and excellent player maybe at CB though.

Trying things out in the Premier League can bite back at times. It would be nice to give Chambers a go in the midfield, and it would train him to keep possession better and add a new dimension to his future game at CB. I didn't see the match, but if he performed better than Flamini would have, then I'd definitely like him to start the next game as well.

Def a centre back going forward
Might be a better option than flamini in the middle though

I was talking more about the Newcastle game and further Premier League games. FA cup, maybe play Reine-Adelaide for all I care :pac: Chambers could play in his natural role.

I's like them to do well in the Cup, we are the record holders!

I pay money to see Arsenal too, but the continued unfair attacks on Wenger's position upset me.

I may have been sharp in some of my responses but the language used against me has greatly upset me

You shouldn't allow things upset you.
They are only comments after all and opinions.
As my poor mother used to say " you have as much right to be wrong as i have to be right". :D

I think getting him games at CB is hard right now so getting him time at DM is the best option, he's athletic enough.

If we got a DM in, next season I'd like to see him loaned out to another PL team getting week in week out game time

    If it was that easy...
i'd probably still have a job!

I hope we do buy him. At that price it would be madness not to.
BUT reading Wenger's interview i'm beginning to think we'll get nobody in.

How would posters feel if we fail to buy anyone in Jan?

I'd imagine the Egyptian seems to be done. It has too much of a Gabriel/Monreal/Eduardo feel about it as in he is AWs type of signing
    That'll be it though

This "Wenger on his last chance" thing. I really have to address that!

This year, out of the last 12, is our best chance to win the league, because none of the other "favourites" have been streaking away, and both Chelsea and united are floundering quite badly. We've beaten both City and United this year, and are the only team to beat Leicester up to this week. We are in a very strong position, and if we go on a hot streak, we could pull away from the pack. I genuinely mean this, if we don't win the league this year and the form of the others stay the same, then I firmly believe it will be time for Arsene to go.

There are some things that need to be clarified about this statement. If City or United or whoever, was to go on a 15 game winning streak, then yes, they would be deserving winners, but as current form stands, I would be miserable if we cocked this up and the others maintained indifferent form.

I'd also like to clarify, I love Arsene. For everything he's done for the club. I've been one of his most staunch defenders on here, and taken quite a lot of flack for it too. He is a legend, and arguably our greatest ever manager and clubman. If I had a uterus, I'd have his babies FFS! All great things must end, and that's just how I feel.

I will nail my colours to the mast. Unless City or United go on a hot streak, there will be only one winner of this years BPL. And that's us! COYG.

07-08 we were top most of the season, same in 13-14.

I think we have our best chance in years of winning the title.
We are just missing a leader on the field to get them going when we're not at our best. An Adams or a Vieira.
Was very noticeable against Southampton and other games. We are grand when we're winning but when we have to fight back and come from behind against good teams we struggle.

No. Cesc would upset the rhythm

I know, but we got injuries to key players, AND most importantly, we were up against rivals at the peak of their powers. This year is different... At least I hope it is! :D

Wenger's autobiography will be a good read.
