Tbf the league has changed drastically from what it was back then. It's a valid concern.

Drastically how? The money men, mercenaries for hire, don't a settled squad make.

Jack Wilshere is due back in two weeks, he plays well as a DM for England.

I'd rather not base our hopes on Mr. Glass!

England in their píss poor qualifying group?

The guy commits fouls and gives away the ball too easily for my liking...

just how much are we missing coquelin right about now :( sooner the guy comes back the better !!

i said it at the start of the season , we need to keep this guy fit to hold the back four and midfield together !!

It'll bring closure for me tbh.

Wenger either wins or he has to go.

I gotta agree with this. Unless city go on some mental run and win every game between now and end of season.

Wenger needs to deliver this season. It really is our best shot in years.

If not then it may be time for him to move on and get some fresh blood in(God knows who). I suspect he will see out his contract tho.

I would love nothing more than for Wenger to sign off with another league title tho.

And enter into a state of flux that Liverpool haven't recovered from since 91 and United since Fergie left...

Wenger is worth more to this team than any player.

I'm pro Wenger I'm also very open to the idea of moving him on in the summer regardless

he can't stay forever. Tbh title or not this year, I wouldn't begrudge him the last year on his contract but I wouldn't mind a change after that if no title comes.

I worry about the type of player we can attract without Wenger tho.

He can't stay forever, but I believe he should go at a time of his choosing. He's done enough for the club to deserve that.

Let's be honest here any other club he would have been gone years ago

Really??? You say that based on what???

    Pep or simeone

    ABW???

Pep or simeone sounds very thought through. Pep and his magic seem to be off to City, LVG might be free, he was popular a while back, bring back the "boring, boring Arsenal days at least...

He has won the FA Cup back to back lads, if we won the league I dare say that wouldn't be enough either...

Be careful what you wish for lads, you just might get it.

You have to take a chance sometime tho. The grass isn't always greener but sometimes it is. We've gone stale. A title could rejuvenate the club and Wenger but if it doesn't come, what then?

The stadium is debt is managable, best team we've had in yonks and the best chance of winning the league too. It's now or ever I think

Might not work out but at least we'll have tried

We won the FA cup back to back, we finished 3rdlast season, UCL knockouts again!!! that's stale???

Are you a Real Madrid fan????

The cups have been great. We've finished 3rd / 4th for the last how many seasons though. Same for the champions league. We need to push on. There is no denying the league and CL is what people want. I still think Wenger is the man to do it and fully believe we will win the league this year but if we fall short again I wouldn't mind seeing a change.

I don't think that makes me or anyone else a Real Madrid fan in fairness

I don't get the whole if we don't do it this year we never will and its there for the taking.

The reason why noone has run away with it is because its very competitive.

We aren't running away with it for the same reasons city aren't.

Rumours of no Flamini tomorrow. We'll get to see if Chambers has improved as a DM in the last 12 months.

Well thinking we've a devine right to win the league does... How often should we be winning the league???

So good of you guys to give Arsene one more year, I'm sure he appreciates it... 🙄

Always backed wenger and he will decide when he goes . I do believe he is not as effective now as he was in earlier days. The amount of money in the game means he doesnt find it as easy to find ans nurture talent as he used to. He is very principled and wont pay more than what he feels a player is worth. This is honourable but also at times frustrating.

There is no doubt when he leaves things will be different. Some good some bad But nothing would be as good as seeing us win the title with him in charge.

No one mentioned a right to win the league
We should be winning the league as often as we can

You may not have noticed but we have been in that state of flux the last 7/8 years and more.

Liverpool aren't the measure but they've won domestic cups and a CL in that same time, taking out CL qualification they've more trophies than us during that flux

Don't fear change I love Arsene and I so want to see him win it this season but if he can't get us over the line this year I don't think he will again

Well thinking we should win it by now is a sense of Right to it.

Hoe often I'd acceptable? 1 in 5/10/15 years???

The inevitable Wilshere "set back". Wasting a squad place on himself, Arteta and Rosicky.

    You had to didn't you:)

In the last 7/8 yeaes Liverpool have won 1 trophy League Cup
We've won 2 (excluding community shields) so that's wrong
