TA that I'd be ordered by somebody not to have a TA. It's just Trivial. Trivial, trivial, trivial.

Forgot to wrap one of Mrs S's presents. I'll just pop it in a bag.

I have The Fear after being out last night.
I feverishly checked social media and my texts to make sure I didn't say or do anything...I didn't, but I still feel I did.
I'm on my own in the house at the moment and I feel sheepish lmao.

Also TA'd that I just remembered how long it takes me to prep the turkey.
I use a Gordon Ramsay recipe and every year I miscalculate the prep time; who knew chopping herbs could take so long?!

Anyway Merry Christmas everyone; this thread is by far my favourite :)

The PS4 credit I bought doesnt have the code needed to use it online. Son has spent the last 30mins sitting in the kitchen moaning about it so now Ive told him to buy it on my card. FFS I bet I will have to battle this one out in the shop:(

    Happy Christmas anyway TAers:)

My OH got me a 3ds for Christmas and I was so excited! I was playing with it like a small child and then the battery died and we realised that stingy Nintendo didn't include a charger so I have to go and buy one tomorrow :(:p

So tired was up until 1 with my family and had to sleep on the camp bed for the night in the same room as my parents, who woke me up when they came in at 2 and I didn't get to sleep until 3 and then my dad stops sawing logs and gets out the chainsaw about 5 :( I had to go sleep on the sofa (which was more comfortable anyway) and my cousins come in about 8 :( sigh and I've been awake since, I hope I make it through the day and have a good time with my family at dinner after 2, the kids have yet to annoy me though :)

I take this back... finding I have knitted a whole baby jacket front backwards/inside out is NOT trivial.. the good thing is it is only a small baby jacket....

Every single Christmas, for the past several years, I've gotten a text first thing in the morning from the same number. It's obviously meant for me, as it has my name in it, and it's just a general nice Happy Christmas message.

Every time, I text back thanking them for the message, wishing them a nice Christmas too, but apologising that I don't have their number saved and asking who it is.

They never ever text back!!! Why?!

That's very trivially annoying! Is there nothing in the house that has the same charger?

I remember when it was just one DS. Good times.

I got a bottle of perfume but when I opened it I realised it was body lotion (which I much prefer anyway) lashed it on and spread it on my arms...its shower gel:(:pac: I seriously have to get my eyes tested in the new year as I cant read any small print on anything these days and its a right balls.

I have the older DS so I tried the charger for that one but it's too big (it's too big, I can't get it in :p)

I appreciate you being TA'd on my behalf though :D

People posting photo's of their kids Christmas haul on Facebook.

I saw a good one today....a fb status update stating (in poor English) that they will not be posting their haul...because some of their fb friends couldn't afford some things....just as bad really

It will be made so that ONLY their charger works so you have to buy it. Been stung by that before..

Nor me but that is my norm, I very very rarely if ever drink as I do not lile the effect or the cost... oh wait! I made the irish cream liqueur and it is rather good and very potent so when I get offline and have fed the critters....

Bah. Saw that Romeo & Juliet was on, assumed it was the Baz Luhrmann version, was quite looking forward to it.

It wasn't. :( Some crappy old version, and I'm not arsed watching it.

Thanks for the reminder about eye test. I hate Varifocals with a passion. I can't see and my spatial awareness has gone to hell. My New Years present to myself will be decent glasses.

Tell me about it. I'm trying to watch Hamlet and the only Shakespeare adaptation on Netflix is that damn Luhrmann version of Romeo & Juliet!

Might be of use to you but it's useless to me :P

The bitching on threads that ESB workers are getting overtime to restore supply today. Such ingratitude.

    Gets my goat!
