I am here alone. Fantastic, peace at last.

BUT, there are no coffee pods for the thinggy.

    Feck. And feck again.

Tea it must be, but you know yourself, when you want something and it ain't there you get really TA'd.

Snap! I was brushing my lower teeth with one of those interdental doohickies and managed to chip a piece off the back of my tooth. Fingers crossed no alarming pain between now and next year! Can neither afford nor face the dentist in the next two weeks. :o
The brush part of one of those doohickies broke off and stuck between my back teeth recently, some job to get it out as theyre so small and hard to grip, thought Id break my tooth.

    Deep breath. Exhale.

I'm slowly calming after today's shopping trip. How I didn't punch someone is beyond me. Do people not have eyes in their heads. Smacking into me with their bags of crap. I stopped, ducked, swerved and even limbo danced at one point to avoid people flattening me. Selfish and inconsiderate soulless leeches stampeding their way around the place.

Like that wasn't enough, I then find out that Eason's no longer sell single envelopes!! You have to buy a pack of four and that's just the bubble wrap padded ones. Worse still if you want an A4 envelope as they only come in packs of 10s! So now I have packets of a whole range of envelopes I won't use! And to think the Irish Rebels fought and died on the same street.

On the motorway and there was an accident. Traffic backed up in both lanes.

Then, some a holes start driving down the hard shoulder.. until they spot the flashing lights. They proceed to aggressively try and bully their way into the regular lanes. Made sure to give them nowt!

A few weeks ago was held up near Moll's Gap; several Fire Service units and flashing lights.. the sight of the wreck when we got past was horrendous, and sand laid all across the road...as soon as we got clear, heading towards Sneem, the cars behind me started trying to overtake on blind bends.. I took the back forestry road and left them to it.

I'm not hungover (yay) but my mouth is so dry and no matter how much I drink, it won't stop being dry. Yuck.

Also after nearly every word I type, my phone puts in a full stop which I then have to go and delete.

Finally, my friends keep sending me pictures or their fry up for breakfast and now I really really really want one. Or a breakfast roll. I'm starving. Someone please go to the shop for me! Thanks :D

    The hype about 1916

2016 hasn't even started yet and I'm already sick of it.

Do we have to go through this again in 2019 and 2021 to mark the centenary of what were actually much more significant events?

Discovered my child scribbled with crayola markers on her bedroom wall. She said "I'm sorry about this...but I was only doing A for Apple".

On the plus side, her A's are quite good.

    TAs for today:
-Having "True Survivor" stuck in my head on repeat. Thanks to my brother for emailing a link to "Kung Fury". Cheers, bro(!)
-One of my cousins is turning 21 on the 27th of this month and it only just dawned on me. Still undecided as to get her something out of Boots or give her €20 in a card. :/
-Trying to watch "Creed" on the couch with the parents and my mother falls asleep, snoring her head off. My stepdad is not bothered in the slightest by the noise of her but she honestly sounds like a feckin' chainsaw! Yet, if I try and wake her and tell her to go into bed, she gets shirty with me. FFS, the living room is *NOT* for sleeping in!
-Craving chocolate and having none in the house. :(

There's a British woman on Winning Streak who said she had to fly here especially to play the game.
    Erm, how is that fair?
I thought you had to be an Irish resident to play the gameshow?

    And she spun the wheel!!!!

when a piece of chocolate breaks off and falls to the floor.

the only recourse for the enjoyment you were entitled to and have been wrongly denied of is to eat another bar/icecream/chocolate.

Classing this as trivial... spent yesterday shivering abed with 2 hot water bottles and the cat and have caught a bug..No immune system working so this is a risk.. maddening but there we are and I would not have been out again now or seen anyone up here. Am allowed internet mass so that is grand.. Maddening though..shiver, sniff!

Set my alarm for 8. Woke up and panicked then thinking I was late for work. I completely forgot that we closed early due to the floods and I am now on Christmas holidays!

5 minutes later I hear something in the hall and it frightened the life out of me. Had no idea what it was and my bf wouldn't answer the phone. Turns out he let the kittens out and it's just them, running around destroying the place.

I've had two frights this morning and I've only been awake 20 minutes. It's going to be a rubbish day. :(

I don't believe you. A rubbish day can not possibly begin with frolicking kittens! ^_^

Sorry kfallon, I hope you're on Christmas holidays soon! :)

Haha well they've cheered me up a lot since I've let them in. Lots of snuggling, scratching and biting ;) but they are super cute. Silly little babies!

Have you ever lived with a litter of kittens? I used to breed Siamese and by the time they left home I was .... words fail. When I opened the door to whatever room they were in they had plotted.,. " when she comes in, you go that way, you go through the door and I will climb the curtains.. SCATTER!!"

I'm in a desserted office and I went out for a run before lunch. I never bring my swipe in card running so rely on the intercom or someone to let me in.
I was waiting outside for ages for someone to appear.

Also, running into the wind. F*ck that.
