I finished my end-of-semester exams on Thursday, but my brain is still in 'exam mode'. I can't pick up a book or watch a film without guiltily feeling that I should really be studying instead.

    I don't like either, but...

"Sport: An activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment."

I don't understand why people feel the need to diminish sports they don't like by falsely claiming that they aren't sports at all.

Because before christmas is the most convenient time for friends who have emigrated to attend the wedding?

I know. I hate pestering people like that. Still I was very polite but some people were so rude!!! Some practically yelled 'no' at me!

Also I'm more than TA'd that the people who were supposed to take over from me were late and strolled in 25 minutes late. I'm mad.

Its not the centres.its the morons in them.Im just back from one and it was one TA after another. Then when I was trying to reverse out of the parking spot this cow was pulled in so close waiting for the space that I felt like staying there and letting her fcuk off.
I didnt reverse in because this other cow was trying to get the space even though she clearly saw me waiting for it. If I had a gun......:(

EXACT same thing happened to me today except the person actually drove into the space that I was attempting to reverse into. Almost took the side off their own car and a parked car trying to squeeze in. Beyond TA :(

Never organised enough to take bags into the supermarket; everything goes back into the trolley then into boxes in the car...the bag packers are fazed by this..

Hey while we're on the subject - pedestrians who press button in the process of crossing at a junction, irrespective of the consequences of leaving the frustrated motorist to sit there while the green man observes an empty pedestrian crossing and the culprit is sauntering away down the road oblivious to all of this.

Was thinking of this when I pressed the button at the crossing today.. On came the green man light and as I stepped out onto the crossing a car came and totally ignored his red light... almost missed Christmas I did...My last thought would have been of this thread!

POs and banks and some shops who close on Saturday noon when I need them and have totally forgotten what day it is...had hoped not to need out again before Christmas...

Just bawled my eyes out because the chicken I was cooking for fajitas kept sticking to the pan. I'm an emotional wreck. PMS sucks. Now I just want dinner brought to me

It's one of my bottom teeth and it is a bit sharp now, I have no idea what happened, I was just eating a sandwich, there wasn't even anything hard in it (hard :p)

There's a British woman on Winning Streak who said she had to fly here especially to play the game.
    Erm, how is that fair?
I thought you had to be an Irish resident to play the gameshow?

Snap! I was brushing my lower teeth with one of those interdental doohickies and managed to chip a piece off the back of my tooth. Fingers crossed no alarming pain between now and next year! Can neither afford nor face the dentist in the next two weeks. :o
