I'm not that well up on these boxes but is it one of the ones that can be flashed with OpenElec (thereby removing Android)?

S905 is only a new chip, (It's the new version/upscale of the S805), so it probably will be possible, but hasn't happened yet (that I know of).

Wonder is the keyboard they are adding to the basket worth getting?

Hi guys, just a silly from a very unsavvy tech person. What do these boxes do, are they the same as getting a stream on your laptop and pluging into your telly but without the hassel? My brother was offered a droidstar titan t8 android smart TV box and a mouse for 100e, how could he use it?

Is there any snag with the shipping? I chose dhl 3-5 days and it only cost 1.46? Can this be right??

Ya it sounds stupidly low for the box and DHL shipping but its worth giving it a go.

Has anyone got the discount code? Each time I try to add an email for it, the page times out.

Geekbuying are going for quite a while.
They are bigger in the U.S. and that's their target market. Europe is kind of an afterthought.
All of those reviews could apply to any Chinese store - Although I'm not a fan of Geekbuying either.
But at the price I went for it. If they take too long, I'll put in a Paypal dispute.

None of the Chinese sites are reliable/trustworthy. Or I've yet to find one that is.
Everyone will have problems at some stage if they use them (often).

I'm not defending them, but will say that I've an order in and won't be giving them much wriggle room - even with Christmas.

Just ordered one and the DHL option cost only €1.27 making a total of €20.11. Paid with PayPal so can get it back if there is any issue with extra taxes etc.

Must have got the last one? got an email from them saying they received my order and also payment via PayPal.
    Thanks for shopping with us.

    Tips for you
For overseas warehouse orders, 1-2 processing days

Edit: Just got email cancelling my order stating the price was an error and also stock levels were too low to fill the order:(

Thanks Allyall I ordered one, I imagine DHL stands for DlckHeadLevy and it will arrive in 6-10 weeks:D

Not defending them either but trust pilot scores are horseshlte, 99% of people will only go to the trouble of leaving a review if
    a) they have a complaint or
    b) they are incentivised with discounts or free stuff or salaried / paid to

Take a look at the reviews for the site we're not allowed talk about - 90% chinglish positive reviews from users with one review.

Also 4.1 is a high score on trustpilot
    Royalmail 1.2 out of 10: https://ie.trustpilot.com/review/www.royalmail.com
    Ebay.co.uk 2.0 out of 10: https://ie.trustpilot.com/review/ebay.co.uk
    DHL.co.uk 1.8 out of 10: https://ie.trustpilot.com/review/www.dhl.co.uk
    Ups.co.uk 2.8 out of 10: https://ie.trustpilot.com/review/ups.co.uk

15 years buying and selling on ebay I've had one unresolved issue so I can safely say that 2.0 out of 10 for ebay is bull****.

Price back up now 33% off instead of 73% off, wonder was it an acccidental or deliberate error to drive traffic and links.
