They all have nice ones and not so nice ones :P I'm partial to heroes/celebrations/quality street or roses but I prefer heroes out of that list as I'd eat them all :P not a fan of nut based sweets so they get left behind snickers etc
Bountys and twix are my fav from celebrations
And the strawberry/orange sweets from roses and quality street are class

Special mention for after eights of course too :)

Terry's chocolate orange seems to be a popular 'Christmas' choc with some people too? :)

Miniature Heroes for variety of choice, as I like all of them except the Creme Egg ones.

Roses caramel kegs and the square toffee ones are also good though. And Celebrations are good apart from the Bounties and Snickers.

Quality Street are mank, the toffee pennies and long sticky ones are OK but they're the only ones.

Rather than sweets, the big tin of USA biscuits are what I really associate with Christmas snacks. My parents always end up receiving a couple of them every year. They're yucky, but a Christmas tradition.

Ferrero Rocher for sure! I love the box with the variety of flavours. I love the white chocolate ones!

Oooh and the Lindt gooey chocolate balls. Love them!

I would happily eat my own bodyweight in those white Ferraro Rocher Rafaello. No problem.

If it wasn't for the abominable Bountys, it would be Celebrations.

I'll remain undecided as long as they're still in Celebrations.

I'm highly suspicious of those who hate coconut. Highly suspicious indeed.

What are your thoughts on the orange creme ones?

They're absolutely disgusting, and so are the people who like them!

    Lindt D'Or

Quality streets are the winner for me.
The strawberry and the orange creme are s simple thing of beauty.
Miniature heros are fab, celebrations are not bad and I don't bother with roses any more.
I once told me boyfriend I'd leave hi. If he ever again brought a box of dairy box in to the house.
Ferrero rocher are divine. Lindt balls are ok. But you'd only eat one or two.

The biscuit winner for me is the chocolate kimberelys . Even if my friend does call them chocolate Fannie's .

A bag or two of tayto bistro salt n vinegar along with a nice chilled white wine and I'm well happy for Christmas.

Biscuits are a good shout. I'd happily destroy the majority of a layer of Victoria in a sitting.

God I hate biscuits. I am very picky when it comes to them!!!!

I got a Terry's Dark Chocolate Orange last night. Absolutely gorgeous! I hate Quality Street and Roses-they taste manky.
Celebrations, Lily O'Briens or Butler's choccys for me, please.

Celebrations and Heroes are so bland and boring. Just regular bars but smaller.

Quality Street are the nicest out of the bunch. Used to love Roses around the time they had miniature Bourneville in them which is kind of ironic given what I said above.

The maltesers in a box of Celebrations alone is the best

If you make the right contacts in the retail confectionary field you can get a box of Maltesers. ;)

Malteaser Bunnies, sold at Easter, used to be my holy grail chocolate. But now these babies have taken over.

    Yumminy yum yum.

My favourite Christmas sweet is Candie :o

    Awwwwwww!!!!:pac:

Seriously, I would have to go with not a sweet but an ice cream. Romantica. That lovely combo of chemicals and sugars is making me salivate right now

Aw :P A Candie is for life, not just for Christmas you know. Besides, I'm not as sweet as I sound.

I hate that Romantica muck, it's too sickly and artificial tasting for me. And I'd eat nearly anything.

I prefer its cheaper, more vanilla based sister ice-cream product, the Viennetta. I could have a whole one of those to myself.

The mint Vienneta I like, but the plain one doesn't do it for me anymore.

Good old trifle. I almost forgot about that and it is a Christmas sweet in that I'd only have it at Christmas.

It would be either after eight or emeralds.

When companies started adding soya to all those chocolates named above I stopped buying them. They are all muck now, and instead we go to a local chocolatier and get local chocolate, it's yummy and you cannot eat much of it.

I'm not great at languages but that translates from French and German into "Children Choco Goodies"?

    Weird.

The only mint anything I like are After Eights. I loves them <3.

And I love trifle, I love it the mostest when someone else makes it.

    Ferrero Pocket Coffee!!!!!!!!!!!

What is this alien treat of which you speak?

ETA: Google tells me it's dark, coffee flavoured chocolate. No thanks. :(

Good choice with the AfterEights. I've eaten a box full of them by myself. I think it fools you in that they com in discreet little fancy papers that imply that they were handmade. Even though the chocolates were extruded from some sphinter-ish industrial scale dispensing machinery.
