RTE news reporter blown away

Did anyone see Teresa Mannion on the rte 6 news reporting from galway having to shout over the wind whilst holding on to her mike and hood with the rain spraying in her face, and all the time yer one in the cosy warm studio was asking her questions about the weather conditions

it'll go down in the annals of broadcasting history.

I actually felt sorry for her. Must have been very uncomfortable for her and she did superbly well to do her report although she mentioned motorway instead of roadway I think in relation to Crossmolina. Surely to god they could have let her do her report indoors. We know its wet and we know its windy!

What gobsh1te thought it was a good idea to do an OB in this weather. She could barely stand with the strength of the wind.
What a waste of money too come to think about it, sending a crew out for a live broadcast to tell us the weather is crap when all you need to fo is stick your head out the door.

Rte are going Fox news for the night. Have to stand in a flood or on a pier for dramatic effect. I'll have to catch the 9 pm news now! Hope she survives the apocalypse.

I say fair dues to her,really dramatic reporting, not many dub based reporters would do it
