    Can someone explain what this does?and if i get it now can i hold off using it until santa delivers the xbox one for my son at xmas?or do the 12 months start once you purchase?

    Xbox live gold allows you to play multiplayer games with others on the internet.
    Also allows access to other services and free games each month through Games with Gold.

    Subscription only starts when you enter the code on the xbox

    Code worked for me just now ,so in stock , don't think my sons gold subscription isn't up until end of January, so it will be ok to wait until then?

    Even if you add it to your account now it just adds 12 months to the end of the current subscription.

    Just got one for myself. Sorted again until March '17.

    I thought you can add sub's at any time? I know before I had 17 months left on a sub after I added another 12 months to an already active sub

    I heard about this site a few weeks ago and since my gold was about to expire I thought I'd give it a go since it was only €26 instead of the €50 I paid last year, it worked perfectly! and now with the extra money I saved I'm gonna sign up for EA Access Which is €25 for the year too :)

    Yeah but not sure I'd wait till Christmas day if you can avoid it. The servers will be getting hammered that day.

    Okay with some more searching, for anyone else having this issue the reason is....
    This error message occurs when you have an active subscription but auto renewal is turned off, and the payment option used to purchase that subscription is no longer associated with it or has been removed from your account.

    Solution

    Because the payment option has been removed from your current subscription, you will not be able to add a prepaid code or token while your subscription is still active. You must wait until your subscription has ended to redeem the token. Subscription tokens do not expire.

    Silly Q - first time buying XBOx membership for DS - paid and got email and it said once I download the link payment will be taken - Q is, do I download it now or wait until nearer Xmas day? Will subscription start if I download it now?

    If you bought it from cdkeys, you download the key using the link from the email received. You activate it whenever you're ready, input the key into Xbox subscription page then the subscription will begin.

    Bought one but I'll hang onto it until a Games With Gold that I really want comes up (don't get much time to play online these days)

    Do the CDKeys keys last 12 months from purchase, or are they occasionally near expiry date?
