It won't be legally held too long if you start blasting away at other peoples property from your average suburban garden!

    :D:D:D

    Hmmm.....

    Good show.

What was your "I wanted it so bad but never got it" Santa present? Mine was a Raleigh Burner, how bad did I want that, mag wheels, cool blue and yellow colour scheme, I instead got a crapy BMX type bike that was always just never good enough against a Burner.

The kids were a polite bunch this year.

I didn't think much of the show though. Needed some more star power and some more interesting segments imo.

    Love the auld Spar ad.

Hand down the best Xmas ad out there, by a country mile. Blows those eight million quid John Lewis ads right out of the water imo.

Bit disappointed that there wasn't another famous person rolled out (was hoping for Paulie) but still enjoyed it!

Rewinded it numerous times.. the kid's face was hilarious, pure shock

That was brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyable. Ryan was brilliant, most of the kids were lovely and overall it was a lot of fun.

I agree Wolfcastle. I really enjoyed it, maybe because my five year old stayed awake for the first time ever definetely made it more enjoyable.

Mag wheels were the holy grail for us BMX riders. No buckles for the rest of your life ;)

Wanted one for my tenth birthday. Dad brought me to the bike shop so I could sit on one, and just see it (new in the shop).

Got off it to go home - and he said 'you may as well take it with you' - 27 years ago and I remember it so clearly.

Had the helmet, top and pants. My folks hadn't much but they always pulled out the stops at Xmas and birthdays.

Can't say I was ever disappointed at Xmas. Never asked for much - but was always thrilled Xmas mornings

Apparently this needs repeating because I'm still deleting.
Plus infracting. There will be infractions.

I've had to delete a ton of posts.
ENOUGH of the rubbish speculation. The posters who are posting it know what I am talking about.
There is no such thing as free speech on boards and I am assuming you would hate boards to get sued for something you said.

Evelyn Cusack was the marquee star this year. RTE probably didn't want anybody else stealing her limelight.

Have it now with the pregnant lady was seriously weird.
Did the child not fall off the step?

It was a very enjoyable toy show this year. I enjoyed it even more this year because of this thread.

A poster said something here Re the hoverboards.

I was asked to go and take part in a demo on one of them in town a few weeks back. It happened outside St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre. And you never guess demonstrating to the public if you had a guess.

Well. It was Kamal Ibrahim who presents the Irish lotto draw. I had to say he is a lovely fella at the first time I met him.

Both my mam and I had a go on them and we had to hold onto him for most of the demo. But it was fun though. I enjoyed it immensely.

Good night and have a Happy Christmas. :)

#TheLateLateToyShow was second in the list of worldwide trends on Twitter today. 76,000 tweets.

    We're a strange bunch.

A facebook friend posted this on facebook after the Toy Show. Her dad actually sent this to RTE complaints. I thinks its utterly hilarious! 9olCToE.jpg

Personally I thought it was great entertainment! Must be very hard to keep a show like that on the road and on time!
